Mobile Groomer in Townsville with New Openings for Dogs Who Need Extra Care

We’re usually fully booked at Fluffy Pawtential, but a few new spots have just opened up — and we’re excited to welcome some special new clients!

These spots are especially for dogs who may need a little extra time, care, or understanding — whether they’re older, anxious, or have had tricky grooming experiences in the past. Emma, our lovely groomer, is a final-year vet student with years of experience and a gentle, compassionate approach.

Big Changes for Fluffy Pawtential in 2025

Hey everyone! As most of you know, Emma is now in her final year of vet school, which means she’ll be on clinical rotations all year. Some days will be 12+ hours long, and she’ll have overnight on-call shifts, making her schedule very intense. Because of this, she needs to tighten up the cancellation and rescheduling policy to keep things running smoothly.

Starting for appointments scheduled 8 March 2025 onwards, here’s how bookings will work:

🐾 Reminder & Confirmation: You’ll receive a text reminder by 9 AM Saturday morning for your upcoming weekend appointment. You must confirm by Tuesday 5 PM.
🐾 No Confirmation = No Appointment: If no confirmation is received by Tuesday, your spot will be cancelled and offered to someone else.
🐾 Late Cancellations: If you cancel after confirming, the full appointment fee will apply.

Emma knows life can be unpredictable, and she appreciates your patience as she juggles vet school and grooming. However, if this policy doesn’t work for your schedule, she completely understands if you need to find another groomer who offers more flexibility—no hard feelings at all! Just let her know.

Emma is incredibly grateful for each and every one of Fluffy Pawtential’s clients. Your ongoing support, patience, and understanding—especially when adjustments have been needed—mean the world. Fluffy Pawtential couldn’t have thrived alongside such a busy vet school schedule without amazing clients like you. Thank you for trusting us with your pups and for being part of this journey!

She absolutely loves grooming your pups and will continue to do so every Saturday and Sunday, but these changes are necessary to keep her schedule manageable this year and to keep Fluffy Pawtential running!

We hope this message finds you and your furry friends well. We are reaching out to inform you about an important update regarding our grooming service prices. Effective July 1st, our pricing will be adjusted to reflect the increased costs we’ve been facing.

Over the past two years, we have strived to keep our prices constant despite the rising costs of equipment, maintenance, and general operations. However, we can no longer sustain our business at the current rates without compromising the quality of care and service we provide. This adjustment ensures that we can continue to offer the high standard of grooming your pets deserve.

Additionally, we are proud to share that Emma is now a fourth-year vet student. While her academic commitments sometimes keep her busy, her advanced veterinary knowledge, care, and compassion bring immense value to our grooming services. Emma’s expertise ensures that your pets receive the best possible care, and this is reflected in our new pricing structure.

We understand that price changes can be difficult, and we deeply appreciate your understanding and continued support during these times. Our commitment to providing excellent care for your pets remains unwavering, and we look forward to continuing to serve you and your furry family members.

Our new price list is attached, and as always, we like to reward you for keeping on top of your pet's welfare, and have made sure to keep a discount for those who book every 6 weeks or less!

🚨 Fuel Mix-Up Drama! 🚨

Hey everyone! We’ve got a crazy story from last Sunday that you won’t believe! 😅

Picture this: We were out working hard, and our van needed a refill. Without thinking, we started filling up with regular unleaded gas... but then we remembered: OUR VAN TAKES DIESEL! 😱

After a few frantic conversations and some major facepalming, we decided to top off the rest of the tank with diesel. 🤞 We held our breath and hoped for the best!

Fingers crossed it keeps on trucking! 🚐💨
(Thank goodness it was only a little bit before we realised!! The petrol station attendant was very impressed we noticed before we filled the whole tank!)

🐾 We usually stick to pups, but this beautiful girl needed our help! She was matted to the high heavens, so we gave her a comfort groom and shaved off all those pesky knots. 🐱✨ We already knew her as her dog brother and sisters are regular clients! 🐾
