Well the stars have aligned or we have our shiitake mojo back (for this week at least). Bumper harvest of perfect shiitake ready for tomorrow’s Toowoomba Farmers Market. Single boxes and in Gourmet packs.
Now to get the other mushrooms to behave themselves!!

Following Biosecurity Oz's decision to relax restrictions on introducing new mushroom species and strains into Australia, we have been experimenting with new strains. The Lions Mane strain 'Hulk' lives up to its name.

We have some Wood Ear mushrooms available tomorrow morning at the Toowoomba Farmers Market. Every mushroom needs different conditions to grow and we are slowly getting to know how best to fruit each. Look for the recipe leaflet at our stall.

Look at these beauties. Australian Native Shiitake. We grow many varieties of shiitake but these are by far the hardest to grow so very excited we will be able to harvest tomorrow night for the Toowoomba Farmers Market on Saturday.

Don't these look delicious. The local restaurants have ordered so many mushrooms this week that we will have a very limited supply at the market. See you at the Toowoomba Farmers Market tomorrow 7am to 12pm.

The beautiful native mushrooms we get from Top of the Range Gourmet Mushrooms make a great Eggs Benny. A perfect breakfast option for everyone, including our vegetarian peeps.
