🚨🚨🚨 Big Dog Pickups 🚨🚨🚨 I am away for a seminar this weekend which means there will be no Friday pickup this week ❌ To account for the workers in the group that usually pickup on Friday afternoons i will be doing a pickup either side of my class on Wednesday: ✅ 2.30-3.30pm ✅ 5.15-6.00pm If you would like to pickup on Wednesday please send me a message. Please do not arrive early as this will distract the group during their lesson 🤪 Pickups will be back to normal next week 🚛

🥳 H𝐚p𝐩y 1𝟒t𝐡 𝐁a𝐫k𝐝a𝐲 𝐌o𝐥l𝐲 🥳 A big happy barkday to our mother hen Miss Molly! 🩷 Age has definitely caught up with her in the past year so she doesn't get to spend much time at work with clients anymore however she is still a core member of our Redefine Canine pack 🥰 Her most favourite things are: 🧀 Eating 🌊 Swimming 🐻 Squeaky toys 🏎 Random zoomies 😬 Cuddles with sneaky nib nibs How old are your doggos currently? We also have a nearly 10 year old and a 6.5 year old in the house and waiting very patiently before we get another puppy 😅🐶

⛅️ Morning walks to start the day ⛅️ This mornings walk and trains were with golden retriever brothers Bailey & Eddie 🐶🐶 These boys have different strengths and weaknesses which is why it’s important to walk them individually until they have both perfected a solid loose leash walk 👌 Bailey is easily distracted, pulls like a freight train, sniffs EVERYTHING whilst dragging the human along for the ride and in general doesn’t have much of a regard for the person on the other end of the leash. He is now understanding positioning, has rules on his walks and has a much better respect for leash pressure. The goal going forward is to gain more engagement from Bailey in order to gain more freedom but overall he has made massive strides 💚 Eddie loves a good zig zag and follows his nose wherever it leads him. Being such a big strong boy this is not good for mums shoulders! Eddie has surpassed his brother in this area of learning and shows great restraint and respect for the rules. Watch him surge forward and then back off on his own accord. This is why Eddie is allowed more freedoms then Bailey at this point, good boy Eddie 💙 Another solo lesson and regular training from mum in between before we add in the helper dogs to really stir the pot 😈

💙 Nimboo 💙

Impulse control….something this little fire cracker lacked in the beginning 🧨 We are halfway through his training program and we have a dog who is learning the world is for watching, not chasing 😎 ✅ leash skills have improved ✅ impulse control has improved ✅ obedience has improved ✅ jumping has improved Now to work on his house manners and excitability around guests, stay tuned! 🐶 Good boy Nimboo 💙

💚 Tadhg 💚

One of the issues Tadhg’s owner was having was getting him to go into his crate. Being a big boy, brute strength wasn’t going to cut it 🙃 We worked through his issues to have him willingly go into the crate at a distance, hands free 🎉 Good boy Tadhg 😇

Basic Obedience classes have 𝒃𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒆𝒅 𝒐𝒖𝒕 for the year 😱😱😱 Our next classes won’t be starting until we reopen in the new year so keep your eyes peeled on the page in December for the release of these much anticipated dates! 🤩 Puppy people however are in luck with 𝑶𝙉𝑬 spot left remaining in our final puppy class for the year starting on November 11th. If you have a puppy born in August or September then this is the class for you, so reach out ASAP to secure your spot as once we book out, that is it for the year! 🐶 A big thank you to my clients who continue to trust me with their furry family members and to new clients coming on board and trusting both me and the training process 💜

💚 Tadhg 💚

💚 Meet Tadhg 💚 This handsome hunk needed help learning some manners both at home and in public! 🤪 He is a young 9 month old Rottweiler who thinks everyone loves him and wants to be his friend which resulted in a lot of sore shoulders on the humans behalf 🐶 First step in his training program was working on his listening skills because we know those ears aren’t painted on! 👂 This video is the first walk we took outside the home after the hard work was done and the foundations had been laid 👟 Having rules in place during the walk was extremely important for Tadhg as he loooovvvesssss to push boundaries. No peeing on every single tree you see, no pulling out in front and no rushing up to other dogs or people to say hello 🛑 I was bracing myself for the worst but was pleasantly surprised by a willing participant who actually liked his new rules 🥰

💚 Nimboo 💚

I was called in to help with Nimboo on a list of behaviours a mile long 🤪 The first step in his behaviour modification plan was good obedience and leash skills to help navigate his energy levels in a productive way 🐶 This boy has gone from freight train to goodest boy in what seems like overnight 💚 This however is not magic! 🪄 This is due to the dedication of his owners who have followed through on his homework and have put in the time, effort and consistency needed 🥰 There is still a way to go by adding in distractions however his foundations are fantastic 🤌🏻 Next stop….barking 🙃

💜💜💜 Saturday classes have booked out 💜💜💜 I am once again truly humbled to have such a supportive community 🤩 My weekend basic obedience classes have booked out for the year 😱 This means no more weekend opportunities until the new year! If you do want to join classes I still have availability for our weekday afternoon classes starting at 4.30pm on Wednesday the 25th of October. This class is my last availability for 2023 and once booked out there will be no more basic obedience classes on offer until the new year 🐶 I will however be hosting one final puppy class this year! I have not released official dates as yet however if you have a puppy born in August or September then this class will be for you! My wait list will get first opportunity to book once dates are released so if you want to be added to the list please send me a message 🙂

💜💜💜 Classes have booked out 💜💜💜 I am truly humbled to have such a supportive community who have once again booked out my classes well in advance 🤩 Unfortunately for others this means having to wait until October for my next round of puppy and basic classes to commence 😱 Some people may think I have a big team behind me but this is not the case and it is just me, Nicole, behind the screen. I take care of accounts, admin, lesson planning, social media, walking, group classes and private training which doesn't leave me a lot of time for much else. I put so much heart and soul into my clients who become family and that is just the way I like it 🥰 I would love to be able to provide more classes than what I currently do but I simply don't have the time! 🚨 An announcement for those in the areas surrounding the marina/east shores 🚨 If you have a dog that is scared of fireworks or loud noises, please help them prepare for fireworks over the next few days 🐶 Tonight's fireworks are estimated to start at 7.55pm 🎆 For those with puppies who would be experiencing fireworks for the first time, this is a great opportunity to put your socialisation work to practice to help desensitise them. Remember distance is key, fireworks are loud and may likely be scary for your puppy! 😊

Our puppy classes have proven to be very popular and we have once again booked out 🥰 Most puppy pawrents are contacting us once they have secured their puppy from the litter which means there are always limited spaces left to book once people start thinking about puppy classes 🐶 To avoid disappointment, I suggest getting in contact once you have paid the deposit for your puppy or are considering starting the search for a rescue puppy as they tend to be older than 8 weeks old at adoption 💜 If classes aren't for you or the timing doesn't suit due to the age of your puppy or work/life commitments then consider our in home puppy school where we come to you! 🤩
