One of the most common questions I get asked; do they run around all day and the answer is no! They definitely have rest periods, normally around 11.30am and again around 1.30pm. The rests don't last long normally about 10 to 15 mins just enough to recharge their batteries and then they are off again.

TOPDOG DOG TRAINING & DOGGY DAY CARE HERVEY BAY

We specialise in changing your dogs unwanted behaviours so if they are barking and distrubing the neigbours or not coming back when you call them or jump on you or your guests, we can help you retrain your dog.

We provide one on one training so we can help solve your dogs specific problems as well as giving you lots of tips and training techniques for you to use at home. We can also do from basic puppy training up to advanced obedience training.

Wendy Thomson has been training dogs in obedience and behavioural problems for over 35 years. She has trained her own dogs to the highest levels in Obedience and participates in Obedience, Agility & Rally Obedience Competitions. She is a qualified dog Behavioural expert and is an Instructor and has been President and is now Vice President of the Hervey Bay Dog Obedience and Agility Club.

We also offer Doggy Day Care at our airconditioned home in Dundowran Beach. If you are working long hours or have a few appointments that will take you out for the day and want your dog to have some company during the day, then let them come and stay with us. Obviously they will be allowed and treated as part of the family. The number of dogs we have in doggy daycare are strictly limited and your dog must be social with other dogs.
