It's the big guys today and we have rain 🌧 but it doesn't spoil the fun for these guys. I am assessing Scotch and Theo to move up to this group and so far they are doing great. This will also even out the groups. We are at full capacity in all groups at the moment which is great but unfortunately can't take any other dogs in the near future!

Small dogs with a few big dogs today. It is always a challenge to include bigger dogs with the very small dogs as accidents can happen even with very social big and small dogs. Small dogs who want to run can get big dogs to crossover from play to prey drive. It's important that I am here to monitor this play and stop any inappropriate play. But it is also important for both small dogs and big dogs to understand the rules of playing with other dogs of different sizes so they know what to do in leash free areas like the beach. Stressful for me but the dogs are having a blast.

Full house today. Scotch and Theo are staying for a holiday and Wednesday but this is their normal group but I'm going to test them on Wednesday big dog group to see if they can move up to the big guys. Eevee is staying with me until Thursday, she is normally in the little dog group but she holds her own with all size dogs but I keep a close watch on her to make sure she doesn't get overwhelmed by the bigger dogs. Bob and Bertie are back after a week off so fun fun fun today.

Little guys today,. The new dogs Bruno and Miley are starting to settle in well and finding their place in the group. Lots more play from both is really pleasing to see.

We specialise in changing your dogs unwanted behaviours so if they are barking and distrubing the neigbours or not coming back when you call them or jump on you or your guests, we can help you retrain your dog.

We provide one on one training so we can help solve your dogs specific problems as well as giving you lots of tips and training techniques for you to use at home. We can also do from basic puppy training up to advanced obedience training.

Wendy Thomson has been training dogs in obedience and behavioural problems for over 35 years. She has trained her own dogs to the highest levels in Obedience and participates in Obedience, Agility & Rally Obedience Competitions. She is a qualified dog Behavioural expert and is an Instructor and has been President and is now Vice President of the Hervey Bay Dog Obedience and Agility Club.

We also offer Doggy Day Care at our airconditioned home in Dundowran Beach. If you are working long hours or have a few appointments that will take you out for the day and want your dog to have some company during the day, then let them come and stay with us. Obviously they will be allowed and treated as part of the family. The number of dogs we have in doggy daycare are strictly limited and your dog must be social with other dogs.
