Saturday afternoon tug of war. Who wins?
✨Happy Sunday ✨
We hope you’re all enjoying the lovely weather this weekend!
Here’s a puppy update to brighten your day ☀️
We’ve introduced Cookie before but here he is on his first public outing for his Assistance Dog training. I can’t believe he is barely 6 months old and this is his first public access - so calm and focussed. Pretty amazing for couch a young puppy.
We hope to have him pass final health testing this year before he plays a small part in our breeding program.
We are so privileged to have such wonderful dogs and Guardian families contributing to our program.
Holly is still looking for a Guardian home 👀
Holly is such a love bug 😍 she is going to be a pocket rocket and I suspect will remain small medium in size with a big personality! Holy has also commenced crate training and basic obedience whilst she awaits her forever home.
You will need to be home most of the time as Holly is very human focused.
You must be dog savvy, have the time and means to look after a Cobberdog and allow her to be a part of your family and be indoors with you, be willing to work with us at key breeding times, be an excellent communicator as most of our guardian families live a reasonable distance from us and be ready to welcome a puppy now.
Our guardian puppies come on a contractual agreement which can be discussed after initial screening processes.
Please see other posts for more information and make contact via our website for genuine enquiries.
As we welcome in the new year, it’s always good to reflect back on the year that has been.
2024 was so positive for us in so many ways. Most importantly being a part of changing lives through the power of a dog. The feeling I get when I receive an update on a puppy or dog we’ve bred, will never get old. The joy, love happiness our dogs have brought to so many families is so heart warming.
2024 has also seen us provide a number of dogs into assistance dog roles, making life changing differences to families across the country. We are so incredibly grateful for those families who have trusted us with this piece of their lives. We are humbled to be in this position.
To our Guardian families, thank you for trusting us and working with us this year. 2025 is an exciting time for many guardian families and we can’t wait to share the exciting plans we have in place.
To all of our breeder friends and colleagues, we wouldn’t have been able to do what we have, without you. Especially those who were available at short notice, on long weekends and any time in between. It really is a team effort to ensure pairings happen and result in amazing puppies.
We also can’t forget our amazing reproductive specialist vet Dr Jasmin. So many puppies exist only because of her expertise 🩺
So, to all of our friends, followers, colleagues and family. Thank you for a fabulous 2024. The year ahead is going to be one to celebrate, with so many exciting things to come. We can’t wait to share it all with you 💚🐾
How did they grow up so fast 🥹
First time outside today for our Christmas litter.
Warm sunshine, the ground is finally drying up (after some much needed, beautiful rain) and some lovely green grass to play on.
At 4.5 weeks every single puppy was tail wagging immediately - this is in a completely foreign environment and with other dogs through the bars. We keep the area small and mum is on hand to give support but these puppies had no concerns at all.
A breeders dream to see such happy and confident puppies on their first outing 🥰
Sometimes it’s hard work getting the milk bar to start flowing!
I bathed Caddi’s puppies today.
It was such hard work Brownie needed a nap during her towel dry 🥹
Today was tunnel play day. Puppies always seem to love a tunnel and these kids were no different 🥰
When all you want to do is sleep and your pillows won’t stay still 😂
It’s been a busy few days 😮💨
Gemma’s babies leave tomorrow (5am start for us) and we also welcomed this amazing litter into the world recently too. Safe to say we’ve been kept on our toes with everything going on - wouldn’t have it any other way though 🥰
For those waiting on email replies etc please bear with me as I get through a chaotic few days. I’ll be back on deck next week.
*This litter has no vacancies 🐾💕🐾
The sunshine has returned and the puppies are loving being outside when the weather allows it. Gemma still returns to feed them once or twice a day but they are almost weaned now. Not long to go for these cuties.
Some “little” puppy love to round out the evening. This was our Easter litter’s first adventure outside. Happy and confident little puppies 🥰
