I bathed Caddi’s puppies today.
It was such hard work Brownie needed a nap during her towel dry 🥹
Today was tunnel play day. Puppies always seem to love a tunnel and these kids were no different 🥰
When all you want to do is sleep and your pillows won’t stay still 😂
It’s been a busy few days 😮💨
Gemma’s babies leave tomorrow (5am start for us) and we also welcomed this amazing litter into the world recently too. Safe to say we’ve been kept on our toes with everything going on - wouldn’t have it any other way though 🥰
For those waiting on email replies etc please bear with me as I get through a chaotic few days. I’ll be back on deck next week.
*This litter has no vacancies 🐾💕🐾
The sunshine has returned and the puppies are loving being outside when the weather allows it. Gemma still returns to feed them once or twice a day but they are almost weaned now. Not long to go for these cuties.
Some “little” puppy love to round out the evening. This was our Easter litter’s first adventure outside. Happy and confident little puppies 🥰
Some puppy love for your Monday morning 🥰
Tired puppies after a hard days work 🥰 puppies don’t need to be physically exercised to be mentally stimulated and tired out. Exposure to new things is enough the tire out their little brains
Zoe’s puppies have also graduated from the nursery. Today they’re enjoying a new item - the tunnel 😍
Willow’s puppies are now out in the main area of the house. They’ve had small sessions already and they’ve adjusted well. They’re also becoming accustomed to a crate and other dogs and getting better every day with their toilet aiming ☺️
Still can’t believe they’re almost 6 weeks old - so small compared to what we are used to 🥰
I love every stage of puppies for different reasons, but the gentle curiosity of this age has something special about it. There’s a soft connection showing already, complete trust in me and a few laughs to go with it. It’s such a privilege to be a part of this 🐾🥰
These guys are really starting to develop some confidence and a desire to explore!
It’s such hard work being a puppy 🥱
Meanwhile in Willow’s room…eyes are open, legs are working - the next stage of puppyhood has begun. 🥰
It’s the one on her back that gets me 😂🥰
It’s Christmas time for our Guardian dogs! Our Guardian families play an integral part in our breeding program, allowing us to maintain a larger genetic poole of beautiful dogs whilst ensuring these dogs are in loving forever homes right from the very beginning. We appreciate each and every family that has trusted us to join our guardian program and we look forward to working alongside these amazing people and their dogs into 2024 and beyond. For now though, a little Christmas thank you from us at Wattleview to our Guardian dogs 💕🎄💕
Today has been the first day in over a week where it hasn’t been either over 30 degrees or raining and cold.
As a result, Sachi’s puppies have spent their first bit of time on the grass and they are loving it! Thankfully the recent rain has allowed us to have some green grass for them.
We start them off in a small pen similar to what they’re used to inside so as not to overwhelm them. Their time out is also short (they all fall asleep pretty quickly) and we then extend their time and pen size as they adjust. By next week we will be teaching them to toilet outside when they wake up and solidifying some of the basic skills we’ve been teaching them thus far.
It’s nice to see the confidence in these puppies already. They are really at a fun age now - playing, interacting, seeking us out.
Not long to go for the waiting families.
