The New Year is one of the best seasons of the year. It feels fresh and full of hope. Whatever mistakes we made or things that didn’t go well in the previous year, we can learn lessons from them and start anew in the year ahead.

What do you want to achieve or accomplish this year? What is your intention as an animal parent?

We are only human, and no animal parent is perfect. In other words, we all have room to grow as animal parents. What do you want to change? What do you want to continue doing? How do you want to show up for your animals this year?

During this Christmas season, my kitty and I spent some time at our friend’s home.

It was such a wonderful atmosphere where different species got together to celebrate Christmas and shared fun time together.

Party isn’t just for humans. In fact, party that includes animals is way more fun than without them! It also brings us more laughter and connects people.

As Christmas approaches, beautiful holiday flowers and plants are all around. But here's a friendly reminder: some of these pretty plants can be harmful to your animals.

No need to stress if you've already decorated your halls with these plants. Simply keep them away from your animals or pass them on to someone who doesn't have animals (you'll make their day for sure!). If you still crave that festive feel, consider using artificial flowers. They may not be real, but it's far better than risking the health of your animals.

Today is International Animal Rights Day.

It’s a day to reflect on our attitudes toward animals and remind ourselves that they deserve basic rights to life, freedom, and safety—just like we do. By recognising animals as sentient beings who feel pain, fear, love, and joy, we take a step toward creating a more compassionate society where they are respected and protected.

Animals and humans share this planet as equal residents. Let’s work together to ensure they live the life they deserve, free from suffering. Our small actions and increased awareness can make a world of difference for them.

I love watching my boy sleep so soundly.
�In these peaceful moments, I can see how happy, safe, and comfortable he feels. It reminds me that I’m doing okay as a pet parent.

We all have those moments of doubt.�“Is my animal happy with me?”�“Do they feel comfortable?”�“Am I doing enough for them?”

Sometimes we worry too much. Sometimes we expect too much from ourselves.

But what our animals truly want is quite simple: nutritious food, a few toys to enjoy, a cosy place to rest, and most importantly, our love, smiles, attention, and time. And if any of those are missing, they’ll always let us know in their own unique ways.

Maybe this is one of the greatest lessons our animals teach us: to appreciate the simple things, and to notice the blessings already in our lives.

And when you watch your animal closely, you’ll realise… the are telling you every single day just how wonderful you are as their pet parent.

Today is my beloved dog’s birthday. She would have been 27 years old.

Although she is no longer with me in a physical form, this is how long I have known and loved her, which is definitely worth celebrating. It has been 10 years since she passed away, but I still think about her every single day.

We were and still are twin souls and are connected between two different dimensions. This bond is my treasure which even ‘death’ could not take away from us.

Happy birthday my sweetest angel girl! Have a fabulous day up in the heaven. Your kitty brother, JoJo, and I are thinking about you on this very special day!
