Today we said goodbye to Tiny the copperhead

Tobi got a call out last December and was welcomed by a tiny little baby Copperhead, he was so small he was maybe 20cm

Due to the risk of kookaburras eating him, we cared for Tiny since then, fed him up, watched him shed multiple times and were very happy to see him on his way today in his natural habitat!

We will miss you Tiny!

If you see a snake, don't panic, watch it from a safe distance and call a professional who can relocate it safely

No harm should come to these beautiful creatures

Our little friend Tiny the baby Copperhead has now grown longer than a 30cm ruler by a fair bit!

He also shed for the second time, 6 weeks after the first shed! You can see the size difference between the two sheds 🥰

Tiny the Copperhead is enjoying a nice soak in some water, his eyes are cloudy because he is getting ready to shed his skin! Did you know that he has caps over his eyes that come off as part of the shedding process?!

You can see these little caps in his last shed 🤓

He is getting bigger and stronger every day and hopefully can be released soon!
