Mr Maple from the Never Ending Story Litter has just turned 18 Weeks, his training is coming along nicely , before he leaves to go over to WA , we are working with and being guided by specialised Trainers from WAATA , his specialised training. Will be to assist a person who has allergies to particular substance, we are learning about this together . In the meantime we are just hanging out doing day to day things together so he will be confident and comfortable in the world
Here’s what we did today 😍
It is possible for pets to co-exist in harmony but it takes time and a bit of work
The Puppies we raise are brought up around our cat Leroy who is not phased by dogs i have spent a significant amount of time training my adult dogs to leave the cat , so my cat feels safe around them
as puppies learn so much from the adult dogs I take every opportunity when I see my older dogs doing a behaviour I woukd like the puppies to learn
The video shows My adults dog Hershey and how the puppies have learnt to be around my are with my cat
Important
When a puppy goes to a new home to consider both animals safety one swipe at a puppy and a hook from a cats sharp nails into an eye or delicate nose or scratch to skin can cause so much damage
Not all cats are ok with dogs or puppies so
never allow a puppy to interact with a fearful cat my cat has had a significant amount of exposure to dogs who are trained to leave him and he dictates the interaction never us
The puppies are trained to leave it same as I have taught my dogs the cat dosent have an issue with them laying close by , one if my adult dogs Macey even cleans the cats face for him , it’s on cat terms what they allow
furring the video we see my cat in a calm state however if my cat was to run I can pretty much guarantee the puppies instincts will kick in and chase the cat , so conditioning the cat and making the cat feel safe and calm is the key
I tell people when bringing puppy home
to provide the cat with a permanent dog-free space using baby gates or a cat door. The cat’s room should include a litter box the dog can’t get too as they may eat the poop 🤮🤮🤮🤮
Outside the cat zone, a tall cat trees to escape any unwanted canine attention., the cat will sit and observe for a few days its best to train your dog to leave it and not to approach the cat or force an interaction , the cat will dictate when the cat feels how they want the dog to interact with them
Brisbane Valleys Martha gorgeous little sable phantom is on her way to Hong Kong , 4 weeks of desensitising and preparing her for this big flight in slow increments , as you can see she is happy to be in the crate,, I know she will just lay down and go to sleep as soon as the van door closes and the lights go out , she is accustomed to sounds she will hear in her travel including the sound of other dogs crying and panting ( the puppy in the next crate isn’t happy ). This won’t bother her as she knows she is comfortable and safe in her own little space and when the doors opened she will be greeted with love and reward for being a good girl 😍😍😍 seeya Marley I’m so proud of you

So much school holiday fun to be had adding one of these to the family
We like to keep the puppies a bit longer that the minimum 8 weeks and we put in the time and effort to give the puppies a solid foundation to give them a stemless transition into family life
The extra time with the siblings and litter is so beneficial to the pups the Dog parents teach them skills us humans are unable to
Bite inhibition , appropriate play dog body language and building confidence , its human parents teach basic manners and toileting outside
Basic obedience and how to walk on a leash
They have been exposed and desensitised to people animals places and situations
These puppies are double doodles
Groodles x labradoodje they are 12 weeks old
Parents are Martha x Hershey who are health screened and cleared
Puppies should grow to around 26-20kg
We are located in north Brisbane
When a family with young children make a decision to buy one of my puppies ….i spend a significant amount of time ensuring the puooy is the right choice is. Not excitable and has been taught manners around humans before it leaves another reason I hold on to the puppies till 10 weeks, i then spend all significant amount of time ensuring the humans are prepared and educated on appropriate interactions and supervision of children around puppies .
Here we have Harvey , one of the litters I ra see a few years back , he went home to a young couple with young children Dad mum and dad asked lots of questions , set up a pen and supervised all interactions , we continued on with training for several months . It’s no surprise when Baby no 3 arrived and started to walk run that Harvey knew exactly how he was to behave around the toddler
Well done to these parents for ensuring the puooy and the children are safe , learn appropriate interactions. And committing to training progress videos in comments
This is what I want for others .
Getting puppies ready for the big wide world out in the big smoke for walkies
4 weeks old … making me sit still and chill
When your running to the milk bar as fast as you can and someone takes your seat
We are so lucky to have this cute as a button girl stay for a few days Brisbane Valley Penny at just 8 weeks she’s super keen to learn ,so so adorable
Sired by our stud Hershey
Today Bear and Brontes baby girl Bettyi knew she was special so she has stayed on with me for training what she did today confirms this , Her daddy bear has this natural ability to want to alert to illnesses . He has detected and alerted me to cancer on several occasions as we grow I will learn to read him better , I’ve had to tell people to go have a doctor check up they look at me strangely when I tell them my dogs telling me this
Betty will be Advertised shortly so I thought I woukd take some video footage of where she’s at
Here is the dialogue
Her exiting the car nicely
We go to a cafe I sit she sits no commands
She drops writhin 30 seconds and stays whilst I go to the counter to order lunch
We people watch for around 15 mins she dosent care no reaction just observes , chills
In the the last footage the man walks past her and sits down look at her reaction , I stopped filming because she became really unsettled sat up tried to get to him , the next thing a heap of people surrounding him he had collapsed… the way she was sniffing she knew …she’s definitely her dads daughter and she will be an awesome medical alert dog for someone who is prepared to continue the training
The videos on sequence in the comments section
Bear and Miss Bs babies are now 12 weeks old. What an incredible experience it has been to watch these Tiny helpless things grow into confident little beings, All of the babies have gone on to further training and will be helping their humans live better lives , it really does take a Village to collaborate and raise healthy confident well balanced puppies .
Bear and Miss B and your team of well mannered 4 legged friends , that you hand selected and allowed to teach your babies how to behave around humans Jaz, Macey, Hershey, Verdell, blossom. Your awesome we love you
Brisbane Valley Martha what an absolute surprise , we had you here for training but it was you who trained us . To have faith in the natural ability of canine intuition We were blown away by how you just stepped up when you knew Miss B was tired Your gentle nurturing soul , showing the babies how to navigate human spaces , how to play nicely and keeping them clean feeling safe and loved , we can’t wait to see you have your own you are very special and we love you too
Garth at keeping the home ticking over
The family for chipping in helping
Beau from Brisbane Valley Labradoodles , bouncing many questions off him because of his decade of professional knowledge so accomodating thanks for your patience
Di from Both Ends of the Leash bloody amazing with Early Foundation Training and techniques and ensuring the human canine relationship for each puppy is suitabke
Thise who came to do early socialisation snd visits
all the new human parents were hand selected by each puppy , Vetted by Auntie Di as being a suitable match , and then the approval from Miss B and Bear
Yes A few tears every time one flees the nest , but we are proud of the confident happy puppies we have raised , it’s much easier to let them go with full blessings when we know they only go to the very best homes, where the puppy and human will be mutually beneficial to each other
A heart warming Clip here, this litter
Merlo hanging out with the Big boy Stud Bear ,
After a long road trip Merlo was a little bit confused as he had left everything he knew
After giving him a day to decompress and just watch the big dogs we allowed him to make choices as observed his behaviour
He joined right in with the big dogs politely and Bear loved him right away , this is where Merlos training starts ,
mirroring seem to be fundamental tools for dogs to establish social connections with their fellow canines and human companions. By imitating each other's movements, postures, and behaviours, dogs create a sense of familiarity, trust, and rapport.
He is shaping up to be a fine young man
