Each and every advert posted on our website has been checked by a member of our admin team to ensure it meets local state and territory advertising laws before being approved and made available for public viewing.

Furthermore, breeders advertising on our website have been verified with their registering body to confirm they hold a valid prefix and membership. We only approve listings from breeders who are current members of:
- an ACF Affiliate;
- an CCCA Affiliate; or
- ANCATS
so you know you are adopting a kitten from a properly registered breeder that is bound by their registering body’s Code of Ethics and discipline procedure where necessary.

NOTE: RPBA breeders will not eligible to advertise via our website until such time as RPBA has been recognised by ACF, CCCA and ANCATS.

Once again, our LEGALLY registered business name has been stolen by a fraudster who is selling goods under our name. Please note: Cat Breeders Australia DO NOT sell any kittens OR products.

We are a advertising service for registered breeders to advertise on.

Anyone else claiming to be Cat Breeders Australia on Facebook (including Groups) to sell products and/or animals is NOT affiliated or tied to this business and is committing fraud by using our registered business name.

I have spoken with the admin of the Facebook Group in this case - and been advised they are NOT in Australia, do not TRADE in Australia, but yet are calling themselves "Cat Breeders Australia"

At Cat Breeders Australia we have noticed a huge spike in listing views during state based lockdowns.

Please remember if you are looking to adopt a new furbaby while in lockdown you need to plan for when you return to work after lockdown ends prior to bringing your new furbaby home.

Many cats get into a routine, and you being home with them 24x7 will be part of this routine, if you are suddenly no longer around, they can get destructive from boredom.

The last website these scammers were using was successfully shut down, however, they are PERSISTING with attempting to defraud people of money using Cat Breeders Australia's name.

This matter has been reported to Victoria Police,
Australian Cyber Security Centre, IDCARE and other various Australian Government bodies.

Cat Breeders Australia DO NOT under any circumstances breed or sell kittens directly to the potential homes.

The only website for Cat Breeders Australia is www.catbreedersaustralia.com.au - we simply help you connect with VERIFIED registered breeders of your desired breed.

If you have paid money to the people running this fraudulent website - please contact the police IMMEDIATELY.
