Snuggly pair looking for a new home!

These two beautiful older female British shorthair cats are looking for a new forever home.
Due to unavoidable circumstances, one of our clients has to say goodbye to this bonded, much-loved pair - they are the best of friends so it's important they stay together.
Djeanny and Sira are 13 years old, and after a little initial shyness, they are super friendly and playful.
They are mostly indoors, but have had access to a small enclosed courtyard in their current home.
There are no medical issues, and are super healthy ladies. They are desexed and microchipped.
Please DM That Cat Lady if you are interested and we can put you in contact with them. 🐾🐾

Please sign this petition to help manage the number of cats born on the streets. The link is in the World League for Protection of Animals (WLPA) post below.

The best way to improve outcomes for street cats is to use our parliament to change the laws!
🐾🐾

Please spare a couple of minutes to help NSW animals

Let’s all do what we can to assist the wonderful friend to animals, MP Alex Greenwich, in his attempt to legalise trap neuter return (TNR). These programs humanly and effectively reduce the street cat population, while improving their health. It is a sad indictment of our society, that those struggling to help free living cats often dumped undesexed (or their offspring), by impulse buyers, have to participate in evidenced based TNR programs, at risk of prosecution. A change in legislation would mean that these groups and individuals currently operating ‘outside’ the law would be able to publicises and promote their programs as well as apply for financial assistance.

Please go that extra step and not only sign but circulate the petition to all of like mind.

Some sound advice from Inner City Strays for what to do if you find a nest of stray kittens - number one, don’t pick them up!

Sydney is currently experiencing a deluge. It’s pouring and not just rain.
Kittens are being born everywhere.

Every kitten season we are contacted by well intentioned members of the public who have found nests of young kittens. Kittens whose eyes may have not even opened yet. Meaning well people pick the kittens up, thinking they are doing the right thing.

Young kittens need intense care for survival and their best chance is ALWAYS with their mother.

Queens (mother cats) feed their litter around the clock and stimulate them to go to the toilet. Their mothers milk is the absolute best nutrition for them as is their mothers care.

Often it’s thought the mother has abandonned her kittens but she may just be off on a break (she needs time out too) or looking for food (her dietary requirements are huge when lactating).

If you find a nest of kittens please don’t just pick them up.

If you are concerned for their welfare stand back (don’t spook mum), get comfy and settle down for a few hours observation. More than likely their mother will be back.
The kittens highest chance of survival is with their mother
