There’s nothing I hate more then informing owners that I’m going to have to shave their dog when they were hoping for a longer length☹️.
Often they have been brushing their dog but as you can see in this video it’s quite easy to brush the top without getting through to the skin and it hides well .
Use a line brushing technique with a slicker brush to ensure you are brushing to the skin and follow through with a COMB . The comb isn’t for actually brushing with but you will discover all the hidden spots that your not aware are there .
Note that once a dog is matted tightly there is no brushing it out so regular maintenance is required to avoid it getting to that point if you do not want your dog shaved . 🐶 🤩
