Every year we look forward to welcoming the HHSA Tour to our property. This year we presented 3 foals to receive 2 silver awards (Springside Sorensen and Springside Escalera) and 1 gold (Springside Sejima).

We also presented two 4 year old mares, Springside Sorrento and Springside Santa- Rita for their Mare Classification, both scoring 8’s making them Premium Mare Candidates and eligible for mare Performance Testing.

We are always grateful to the assessors and volunteers who make the tours happen. We had a great day with this years assessor, Meg Williams, who was really enthusiastic and keen to share her knowledge. Thanks also to Karen Burge for coming out and being on ‘camera duty’ and watching her beautiful c**t receive his Silver Award.

Stedinger 47th on the WBFSH dressage sires list for 2024. This is his 10th consecutive year appearing on the list and he is the only Australian based Stallion on the list this year. He is the only stallion on the list available for chilled semen Australia wide. He has multiple pregnancies on the board for this season already.

He is available at $1,320 inc. per single dose of chilled, his lowest price ever, and additional doses at $550 per dose for the same mare this season if required. We also have excellent frozen semen available for a discounted price of $750 per dose.

Stedinger is available for chilled semen Australia wide. Now based in the Macedon Ranges, we are ideally situated for flights out of Melbourne, and we can collect every weekday and weekends by arrangement.

Stedinger is the highest ranked WBFSH stallion available for chilled semen in Australia. He has over 40 licensed stallion sons and 110 direct FEI offspring including over 30 at Grand Prix.

In Australia he has produced FEI Grand Prix horses and Royal Show Champions and is the dam sire of countless dressage horses, show horses and eventers.

SPRINGSIDE SORENSEN
Grey c**t, 2024.
Santos (IFS) x Londongirl (IMP) (Londonderry x Santini).

Our last foal from our beautiful imported Elite Hanoverian mare, Londongirl. By Santos, this superb grey c**t is testament to the lovely foals she has produced over the years, first with Highlands Valley Warmbloods and 5 foals for us.

Springside Sorensen is a beautiful, elegant c**t with 3 excellent paces. He is leggy with long lines and a natural uphill tendency. Bred for GP, he will make an excellent dressage horse. Available to a competitive home.

The sire: Santos (IFS)
Santos belongs to the first crop of the German Champion and Vice World Champion Secret and is out of the State Premium mare Fairy’s Donna, who in turn is out of the Elite mare Fee. Fee was reserve champion at the Brillantring at the Oldenburg Mare Show in Rastede. Santos was the second highest scorer during his 50 day test receiving an overall score of 8.77. He was awarded 8.5 for walk, 8.5 for trot, 9 for canter, 9.25 for rideability, 9 for general impression and an 8 for jumping. Santos has since gone on to have success in young horse classes with scores up to 9.7 qualifying for the Bundeschampionate. Santos’ first foal crops have delivered to everyone's high expectations having produced many foal auction candidates.

The dam: Londongirl
An elegant and typey mare that was purchased from the Verden Mare and Foal Auction and imported to Australia in 2007. In 2009 Londongirl was awarded Premium Mare status by Dr Wilkins during the Hanoverian Assessment Tour and is now an Elite mare. She is the dam of a Hanoverian Gold foal and multiple ACE Group Inc Elite foals including the 2016 highest scorer Australia wide. One of her foals, HV Destino was exported to New Zealand. Londongirl’s mare family has produced numerous auction horses, licensed stallions, state premium mares and FEI competitors.

True black with no white. A very correct, compact filly with 3 excellent paces. Will make an exceptional dressage horse or show horse. Available to a competitive home.

Double Congratulations to Sarah Kassulke and Springside Eddison, winning all 4 of his tests, to win both the AOR Prelim and AOR Novice Championships at the Brisbane CDI. An amazing result.

We are so grateful to have amazing people buy our foals and young horses. The huge amount of time and effort people put into producing horses we have bred makes the whole process incredibly rewarding. We love seeing our horses out doing what they were bred to do.

Springside Eddison is out of our lovely imported Zack mare Estrada. She has produced a number of exceptional foals for us, Eddison by Doctor Royal, Springside Floriani by Franklin, Springside Fontaine by Furstenball, and Springside Safira and Springside Sophia both by Stedinger.

Our second foal due for 2024 is an ET foal out of the imported Elite mare Londongirl by the IFS stallion Santos.

The sire: Santos

Our first foal due for 2024 is an ET foal out of the imported State Premium mare Finesse by the impressive IFS stallion Escaneno.

The sire: Escaneno
Escaneno is a stallion with truly exceptional riding horse qualities. As a five-year-old stallion he received a final score of 9.0 for his short aptitude test, with individual scores of 9.0 for trot, 8.5 for canter, 8.3 for walk, 9.8 for rideability, and 9.5 for willingness to perform. He completed his sport test as the top scorer with a 9.5 for rideability and a final score of 9.09. In February 2024, Escaneno set the benchmark for the third consecutive time at the Westphalian Horse Center with a final score of 8.97 (trot 8.60, canter 8.50, walk 9.00, rideability 9.50, overall impression 9.00). His grandmother, St Pr St Reine Freude is the dam of the very successful breeding sire Fidertanz and in 2021 was awarded the best mare family at the Herwart von der Decken Show with three of her daughters, one being the dam of Escaneno.

The dam: Finesse
The imported State Premium mare Finesse stems directly from one of the best mare lines in the world, closely related to Sunny Boy and Don Schufro. Other notable descendants of this family include the prolific breeding stallions Furst Toto, Donier, Escanto PS and Just Wimphof to name only a few. Countless grand prix horses including olympic competitors and a bronze medalist belong to this family. Mares that originate from this line are secured by top breeders around the world such as Blue Hors, Paul Schockemohle, De Jeu and Mount St John.
