Each clients horse is treated as one of our own; with an individual paddock, two hard feeds a day plus hay and stabling if required.

I am an FEI dressage rider and qualified judge, with extensive experience in training young horses through the dressage levels.

The beautiful ‘Gemma’ has headed off to her new home this afternoon in NSW. I had an overwhelming amount interest in her, with over 40 enquiries in the first day of advertising!

Presenting for sale: HEC Florett

‘Gemma’ is a lovely bay warmblood mare by Furst Grandios. She is 16hh, 10 years old (DOB 10/11/2023), and registered with the EA. Gemma possesses an overtracking walk, rhythmical trot and an uphill canter, however her real highlight is her excellent temperament. She can be ridden after several days off, does not require lunging and has zero vices. Gemma is a very safe and uncomplicated ride that would suit a range of riders including amateurs and juniors (not beginners).

She has been in training with me for the past three weeks and is established at novice level and training the elementary work, including all laterals. She is light in the hand, responsive to the aids and has a great work ethic. Gemma has also previously show jumped up to 1m and recently attended a freshmans showjump day where she was impeccably behaved. She would make an excellent interschool candidate or amateur owner rider horse.

Gemma is excellent to catch, shoe, plait, bath, rug etc and is also a very good doer!

It was so lovely to take out my gorgeous baby horse Finest Light BHI this weekend at the Adelaide Hills Dressage Club Spring Championships 🌷🌿

Saturday saw us in the prelim, Hugh very much thought a pair of flags meant mortal danger however we still came home with a 5th and 3rd place.

Sunday a much more relaxed Hugh, we had our first crack at novice coming away with the win in both tests to take out the Novice Championship and the highest score of the whole competition- a lovely 73.9% in the 2.2 🥳

Thank you to the hard working committee for putting on a fantastic event, the weather was perfect and the wine at presentations topped off a lovely day! Thank you also to the sponsors of this event and my own support team at home 🩷

A lovely sunny day at the Adelaide Hills Dressage Club official competition ☀️

✨ Finest Light BHI ✨ put in two lovely prelim tests for a 70% and 71% ♥️ This earned Hugh his gold performance medal at prelim 🥇 Good boy Hugh! He felt calm and confident all day at a new venue.

Thank you to the committee for putting on a great event. The grounds rode super and Hugh skipped along the grass thanks to his fancy feet curtesy of Jarrod Cravens Equine Hoofcare Services!

A great day at the office with the young horses for the Mt Crawford Dressage Club May competition despite some cold and wet weather! 🌧️❄️🍂

✨ Finest Light BHI ✨ put in two great prelim tests for a 🥈place in both with scores of 68.5% and 74.1%. Hugh is starting to feel more confident in between the white boards now after ‘winning the warm up’ at his last few comps. So proud of this gorgeous 4yo 🤎

💎 Revelwood Opulence 💎 had his third start at novice, coming home with wins 🥇 in both tests and scores of 70.5% and 71.5%. We were the only combination to crack the 70% barrier in both tests and also his first scores of this calibre! Finally the time and effort that has gone into this horse is starting to pay off ♥️

🏆 2023 Dressage South Australia Championships 🏆

So pleased with how my 3 boys performed over the weekend 💗 Hopefully some professional photos to come soon but for now only video screenshots 🙈

Saturday:
Ellanbrae Jeniro 🖤 produced 2 good tests in the advanced classes to bring home reserve champion and a PB in the 5.3 of 68%.

Finest Light BHI ✨did a lovely first test to place second and just shy of 70%. We then ran out of gas ⛽️ for the second test which unfortunately dropped us out of the overall placings. We managed to still come away with prelim reserve champion in the open division.

Sunday:
Revelwood Opulence 💎 has been quietly ticking along at home, having not competed in a year and only his second novice start I was thrilled with how he performed. Just out of the overall placings in a huge field, still managing an overall 4th place in the open novice division.

A massive thank you to the event organisers, DSA committee, volunteers, sponsors and judges for putting on a fantastic event.
