Dad is bailing and the hay looks amazing but there is way more than we could ever need! Send us a message if you would like to pick up direct from the paddock $5 per bale NOT RGT though. Fill a ute and/or float, also the local Ampol has trailer hire :)

Trixy had her first start in the East for new connections, had it in the bag for a win...she has a mind of her own that's for sure :)

Former WA mare ELLEKER HANOVER has her first start for us at Warragul on Monday.

The 5yo has joined Kate Hargreaves stable after 4 wins and 34 minor placings from 121 starts in the West.

Stablemate CAYMANGONE, a winner at Mildura two starts ago, also makes the trip to Warragul, while BOTTLE ROCKS backs up in our colours at Globe Derby Park after a fourth on Saturday night.

Nice little win for Loki today, hope this is the first of a few for his new team! We are sure they will have plenty of fun with this cool dude.

IM LOKI (trained by Kate Hargreaves) is second-up since arriving from WA. Led at Mildura, but pulled hard and ran out of puff to run second.

MIRADERO has her second start for us at Port Pirie today, having running a third.

We thought our girls would go very well tonight after a much better prep getting in an extra run this week and could not be happier with Trixy (Elleker Hanover). Long odds too for the punters which we are not, but if you follow us congratulations on your win too :) . Great drive once again from Dad getting her head in front so she could not see any carts on the home turn - that's her little quirk if she can see cart wheels coming at her legs she thinks her job is to give way to them and not race them. Smart cookie as I too would not trust those wheels close to my legs either.

With disappointment and heart break there are also blessings! Walking through the paddocks filled with these wonderful animals it is always humbling and delightful even on the sad days. Look at this little mini Thor...half sister to the big man and at 1yr old she might not be as tall as he was but she is 3 times as wide! She had a big cuddle and made me smile.

Today was a day every owner hopes never to endure, a normal day, a normal workout but then a tragedy. This big boy was back to his best fitness and wellbeing but with one awkward move during his gallop today he shattered his pastern leaving no chance of recovery. We will miss him dearly everyday, everyone is just devastated. RIP Thor
