Puppy play school Wednesday 19 May
A big welcome to Herbert, a gorgeous six months old mini Groodle who joined us today for the first time after a couple of one on one training sessions with me. All the other doggies were excited to have a new friend and Herbert seemed to love the attention. He did so well and integrated in the group pretty quickly. His first time playing with a big group of dogs and he loved it, bless ❤️🐾
My training assistant Maci joined the session today. She is my top student and I wanted her to meet little Ranger so he could learn from her being the same breed. It was so cute seeing them standing together, big Kelpie and little Kelpie.
As usual Bella was trying her best to get as dirty as she possibly could, and that she did, she just loves it 😂🤪
Another fun day at Puppy Play School ❤️🐾🐶
Adult play school Friday 21 June
Lots of high energies in this session, omg these working dogs sure are very fast and Maci is the fastest, she’s like a lightening bolt.
So good for them to release all that energy in beautiful surroundings and be free to run.
And so good to see Chloe so comfortable in the water now unlike when she first started where she hardly liked to get her toes wet. Now she goes in and out all the time and loves it ❤️🐾
Puppy play school Wednesday 12 June
It was great to have the lovely Layla back after a couple of weeks off while she was unwell. She was so happy to be back she could hardly contain her excitement when I picked her up, bless. She has been coming to Playschool every week since she was about 12–14 weeks old and now at 18 months old she is still as excited to come as she was back then and she’s now such a good dog, we love our Layla ❤️🐾
There were a few visitors to the park today and the dogs loved meeting all the new dogs. It’s so good for them to mingle with older and bigger dogs so they’re not scared of them and also for the younger puppies to learn personal space with older dogs. Bingley was so cute and made some human friends, so adorable.
Daisy continues to steal hearts with everybody who came into the park falling in love with her and she loved having cuddles with Tiana. The fact that she is 16 years old and deaf makes her even more adorable because she’s so happy and enjoying life 🩷🐾
Puppy play school Wednesday 5 June
Sully and Maple joined the session as they’re boarding with me at the moment and Maple hit it off with our little young boy Ranger. They played for ages, so good to have a dog that can match Ranger’s puppy energy and loves to play like him.
Daisy, our senior attendee, is so adorable, she loves to walk around and sniff and always has this big smile on her face, too cute❤️🐾
Every dog is different and at Puppy Play School they get to do what they love most. Some love sniffing around and being around the other dogs, some love to play and chase each other, and others decide to randomly join the fetching team like little Molly who started chasing balls and having a great time. So adorable because she’s never done that before 😄
Adult play school Friday 31 May
What started as a very cold morning, turned out to be a beautiful day for our play school, where dogs learn valuable skills whilst having a heap of fun, win win for owners and dogs 😊❤️🐾
Puppy play school Wednesday 29 May
What a beautiful Brisbane winters day we had today for our play school, it was actually quite hot so the pool was very popular as usual.
Our little pup Ranger is improving and learning more each week and it’s so cute how he’s learning from Ziggie as he follows him everywhere. Ziggie has been coming to play school since he was only 14 weeks old so now he is a very well-behaved and obedient adult dog. It’s so cute how he has become Ranger’s mentor and because of him, Ranger’s recall is getting better.
The adult working dog breed showing the little working pup how it’s done, adorable 🧡🐾
After all the running around we usually have the snuggle time and the dogs love it and they love the new addition to our team, Tiana. It’s one of our favourite times too, we love all the cuddles 🐶❤️🐾

A big welcome to Daisy, who at 16 years old is officially the oldest doggie to join the Playschool. She was boarding with me last week so I brought her along to the session and she loved it so much that her owner asked if she could come again. Despite also being deaf, she just loves hanging out with all the other dogs and sniffing around. So good to see her still enjoy life at her old age, she’s absolutely adorable ❤️🐾
Winnie was in a great mood today, and back to her old zoomies with Sadie, as always she’s the fastest, and no one can catch her 😂🤪
Our youngest puppy Ranger is also kicking goals and his recall is getting better. He’s one excited little puppy, so I’m also working with him one on one to teach him how to manage his impulse control but he’s still only a young puppy so he will get there. He has gotten so much better already when meeting new dogs and not being in their faces too much so that’s really good to see.
Puppy play school Wednesday 8 May
The gorgeous Nua joined us on her last day boarding with me and her and Layla were so cute together, they were giving each other so many kisses in the car.
Bella was back to her usual funny antics, trying to get as dirty as possible, she just loves it! She got a wash down before we left because there was no way she was going back in the car in that state! 😂🤪
Bingley loves my lovely assistant Gypsi and enjoyed a nice big cuddle, so adorable ❤️🐾
Adult play school Friday 5 May
The gorgeous little Nua joined the session with us today as she is boarding with me while her mummy is away. I have been training her since she was only weeks old and now at just over a year she is a very good dog indeed. She has perfect recall and amazing obedience. she’s a true testament of how well behaved a dog can be if trained early and correctly. And also when the owners put in the work and consistently follow the strategies I give them.
She absolutely had the time of her life and loved running non-stop with Chloe and Zerro, who also love running so they were in good company.
They cracked me up when we got to a spot where there’s the grass that all dogs love and it’s good for them to eat, and it looked like they were grazing cows 🐄😂🤪 it’s actually an urban myth that dogs eat grass only when they have an upset stomach as they actually very often eat grass. It’s their way of supplementing their vegetable intake, that’s what they would do in the wild.
I’m so proud of Luna for being so tolerant and patient with the other younger dogs that are still learning what personal space means and instead of reacting like she used to in the past when they lick her in the face, she instead waits for me to tell them to leave her alone. That is such a big step for her because she used to hate having dogs in her face, let alone licking her. Well done Luna! 👏❤️🐾
Benji is boarding with me at the moment while his family is away and today it’s his birthday, two years old. So what better way to celebrate then to go for birthday brunch at the Doggie café with his newfound friend Nua, they were so cute how they loved each other and kept on giving each other kisses ❤️🐾
And then we went for a birthday run on the beach, which of course he loved. I think he enjoyed his birthday, he’s such a beautiful boy 🎂🎊❤️🐾
Adult play school Friday 24 April
Benji joined our session today and though he’s only been training with me for a short time, he quickly acquired the skills required for this session. He now has great recall and general obedience and it was so good seeing him having so much fun, bless ❤️🐾
With two working dogs and a very active Staffy there was a lot of running indeed, they sure do have a lot of energy! 😂🤪
All the dogs love to be able to run freely and share the experience with each other, happy dogs ☺️
Puppy play school Wednesday 24 April
Today the doggies made friends with a lovely dog that came into the park. It’s good for the doggies to meet and interact with other bigger dogs that are nice and social and he was definitely all of that, he mingled with the other puppies nicely.
Ranger, who is still a young puppy, is also learning how to socialise properly and not be over excited when meeting other dogs and he did so well with that today. It’s very normal for young puppies to get overexcited when meeting other dogs and being in their face too much so it’s important to teach them good behaviour and good social skills as older dogs don’t like young puppies in their face and can cause them to react. That’s why this is one of the things we focus on a lot at Puppy Play School.
The other thing we also focus a lot on is not jumping on people and even though some cheeky doggies forget sometimes and start jumping on us, they always get consistently corrected and that’s how they learn the better behaviours.
Adult play school Friday 19 April
Today was Chloe’s birthday and what better way to celebrate then to come out on a fun adventure in the forest. Like all working breed dogs she needs to run to get rid of all that boundless amount of energy and she had such a great time. And to think that when I first met her I told the owner that there was no way that Chloe could come to the adult Playschool as she had no recall, no impulse control and didn’t have very good social skills around other dogs. But after some consistent training she finally qualified for the session and she has learnt so much since coming along. She wasn’t a fan of water and look at her go now into deeper water, which she would’ve never done before. I’m so very proud of her. Makes my heart smile seeing her having so much fun ❤️🐾
Maci is also now properly swimming, which she never did before. She always loved the water and went in where she could touch but would not go in deeper water and today she did lots of swimming, go Maci!
It’s a good skill to have to be able to swim properly, even in deep water, so if they ever fall in water they have got the confidence to get themselves out of it and not panic. That’s why teaching them to swim is a big part of the curriculum in the adult Playschool.
Puppy play school Wednesday 17 April
Today it was Layla’s turn to make us laugh with her super funny expressions that we managed to capture in photos. She’s so gorgeous and such a beautiful temperament, always a pleasure to have her in session.
Winnie was super cuddly today, and she gave me the biggest hug when I picked her up, she’s so adorable ❤️🐾
So proud of Donatella and Giovanna, they have gained so much confidence, especially Giovanna, who is now comfortable having so many dogs around her when before she was so timid and scared of any dog. Well done girls! 👏🏆❤️🐾
Puppy play school Wednesday 10 April
Today was a big milestone for Bingley who was very shy and timid when he first started coming to play school and recently he’s been getting out of his shell and mingling with the other dogs more. But today he fell in love with this cute dog that came into the park, and I’ve never seen Bingley play with another dog like that. They were so adorable together, giving each other kisses and chasing each other around. So good to see Bingley having so much fun.
Little Liv has been coming along during the school holidays and the doggies love her. Plus she’s a great little helper ❤️
Bella was so funny, getting an attack of the zoomies and running around like crazy 😂
All the doggies have achieved so much since their first day and I’m so very proud of each and everyone of them ❤️🐾
Adult play school Friday 5 April
It was a very rainy day but that didn’t stop us from going on our forest adventure.
All the doggies were hyped up and full of energy so they welcomed the running and frolicking in the water. The forest was so green and lush with the rain, so beautiful ❤️🐾☔️🌧️
Puppy play school Wednesday 3 April
The doggies love the pool so much that they start getting in even before we have a chance to fill it up, they’re so funny!
It’s so cute how they’ve formed their little friendships and love playing together ❤️🐾
The return trip was much quieter than the pick up with all of doggies tuckered out and sleeping, mission accomplished!
Adult play school Friday 22 March
It was Chloe’s second session and she did so well at overcoming her fear of water and even managed to swim across the creek, I’m so very proud of her
Zerro is now an elite pro swimmer, this is a dog that wouldn’t even put her paw in the water and look at her now, she loves it!
All the dogs love their parkour adventure and even Luna, who is not as agile as the other dogs manages to keep up and the exercise is so good for her. I love seeing the dogs figuring out how to cross and using their problems solving skills, so good for their mental stimulation ❤️🐾
Puppy Play School Wednesday 20 March
A big puppy play school welcome to Ranger, a gorgeous 4 months old kelpie. He loved being with all the other dogs and running around with them. Still a bit shy and finding his feet so Puppy plays school will be great for him to learn good social skills.
We also had little Archie, who joined the session as a one off while he’s boarding with me.
And then we had all the regulars who get so excited when I go and pick them up as they know it’s Playschool day, it’s so adorable ❤️🐾
