I love working on the floor 😆! Cats feel at ease there, minimal lifting and manoeuvring, everything close by (in this case stethoscope, microchip scanner, scales, vaccines, nail clippers and TREATS). Patty and Skittles loved it too… even disguised heart auscultation with tummy tickles 🙌.

5 year old Honey is thriving, having recently been adopted by a loving owner, enjoying the smaller, important things in life: good food, warm bed and tummy tickles. ❤️❤️

Like most of my work days, there are highs and lows. Seeing this beautiful girl was a high. She is coming into such a loving home, that since February has been grieving the loss of one of their older Rottweilers. With her she brings lightness, laughter and cuddles. Her big brother is still unsure… his world was rocked back in Feb. It is early days yet, but things are looking up ❤️❤️.

The focus was on my own dog yesterday, Louie (❤️), as he volunteered his precious time to be a at .
He absolutely nailed the job description:
‘Allow self to be patted and made a fuss of’. He brought smiles and even some tears to some residents’ faces 💕💕. Such a special boy 🐕‍🦺.

Sweet little girl has endured a lot since heartbreaking diagnosis in Feb this year, but on Friday we heard some beautiful words from the mobile ultrasonographer - ‘There is no sign of cancer’! 🎉🙌❤️😭

You’d never know it from his zen countenance, but this little dude had to have 3 separate blood tests taken today. He handled it all so well 💪. A calm owner holding him on her lap, some gentle talking, and we were done before he even knew what had happened 🙌. Home visits at their best 🥰.
