Pawsome Puppies Pet Sitting is hiring!!
We are currently looking for house/pet sitters in all areas!
About the role
This role is 100% in the client’s home, you are not required to have pets at your house, however you need to be comfortable being alone in clients’ homes overnight (you cannot bring pets of your own, kids, family/friends or anyone who is not named in the contract to attend the premises)
Although our animal clients are definitely fun and adorable, this role is more than just playing with puppies all day. As a house and pet sitter, you must be very reliable, safety-minded and responsible with the pets and homes under your care.
This is a sub-contractor position with fixed daily rates
You would be required to do overnight stays in client’s homes for one or multiple nights including weekdays, weekends and public holidays
About you
This role would be well suited to someone looking for extra income and have no responsibilities at their own home!
You love animals of all breeds, pet sitting is not just dogs, we have looked after cats, fish, birds, horses, farm animals – even lizards!
You have great communications skills and access to your own mobile phone or tablet with camera and internet to send daily updates!
You are reliable and trustworthy - clients rely on us to care for their pets for a stress-free time away from home - that means no last-minute cancellations!
You are physically fit – dog walking may be part of your stay and you are required to be able to handle different breeds
You are friendly, approachable and have a genuine passion for looking after people’s homes and pets!
You have, or are able to obtain a current ABN (this is free to obtain, and we can assist you with this if required)
You have, or are willing to obtain a current Criminal History Check
You have a current valid driver’s license and access to your own vehicle that will be with you at the client’s property in case of an animal emergency
You have previous experience with animals – the more the better!
You are comfortable cleaning up after animals, you are tidy and clean up after yourself and you don’t mind taking bins out and collecting mail as required during your stay
You have good availability – especially during holiday periods and are open to last minute jobs
