A little message from Rachel.

Today was my last day at Pet Bodyworks.

When Toby, my son, started preschool I applied for a job I found in the newspaper. I started working for Michelle, and there I met Tori. Many people would come and go. In 2014 Tori & I bought the business together, and built it up to the thriving business it is today.

Then almost 3 years ago my family moved to the Hunter Valley. I left. But 2 weeks later we were back because the schools up here didn’t work for various reasons and I wanted Toby to finish his journey at his old school. Thus we started our almost 3 years of commuting. 5 days a week.

Toby finished Year 12 and turned 18 this year.

I’m sad to leave. But I’m tired. So tired. And spending so much time driving has not been good for my waistline. I’ve been slowly building clients up on the weekends at home, and now it’s time to step into that scary role full time.

I’m leaving the business in the most capable hands of Tori. She is going to be so busy, it’s not funny. But I know she will look after it. I’m proud of what we accomplished together.
