What are your go-to wet weather activities and games? Or do you and your dog just embrace the rain and go for it?

Gigi, the Queen Cavoodle at TASAA, absolutely loves the rain, wet grass, and mud! She takes the lead with all the puppies in training, turning soggy days into fantastic opportunities for environmental exposure. We love that pint-sized Gigi isn’t afraid of anything Mother Nature throws her way.

Sure, we’re not fans of the muddy clean-up, but if the puppies are happy and learning not to be fearful during weather events, we’re happy too!

Shout out to all the shortie dogs who have wet bellies from the grass!

TASAA Field Trip Alert!

Today, we stopped by Harry’s Hounds Dog Daycare / The Paw Professor in Brookfield to reconnect with Mitch, Nikki’s old co-worker and fellow Queensland Police Dog Handler. Dee got a crash course in German Shepherds thanks to Mitch’s amazing girls, Maddy and Billy!

Mitch offers daycare, boarding, and expert training for working dogs, all in a fantastic facility that the dogs love. If you’re in the area and looking for top-notch daycare, boarding or working dog training from a seasoned pro, Mitch’s place is a must!

Thank you, Mitch, for the tour and letting us meet your gorgeous girls, Maddy & Billy. We had a blast!

Join us tomorrow for the Walk for Daniel. We'll be taking our therapy dogs and puppies in training and we'd love for our TASAA friends and their dogs to join us too. The 4 km walk starts at 7:00 AM from Suncoast Christian College, with shuttles available from Palmwoods Soccer Club. Let’s walk together and make a difference!

Walk for Daniel - Friday, 25 October 2024:

**Start Location:**
Suncoast Christian College
7-13 Kiel Mountain Road, Woombye QLD 4555

**Finish Location:**
Palmwoods Soccer Club
91 Jubilee Drive, Palmwoods

Time Schedule:

- 5:30 AM:
Carpark at Palmwoods Soccer Club opens for guests to arrive. Shuttle bus available to Suncoast Christian College.

- 6:00 AM:
Guests and media arrive. Event and entertainment commence.

- 6:30 AM:
Official formalities and speeches begin.

- 6:50 AM:
Last shuttle bus departs Palmwoods Soccer Club for Suncoast Christian College.

- 7:00 AM:
Walk commences (4 km).

- 7:40 AM:
First walkers arrive at Palmwoods Cricket Club.

- 8:00 AM:
Majority of walkers arrive at Palmwoods Cricket Club.

- 8:15 AM:
Bruce and Denise's thank you address.

- 9:00 AM:
Walk for Daniel event concludes. Last bus returns guests to Suncoast Christian College.

We are excited to announce that we will be part of the Daniel Morcombe Foundation’s annual Walk for Daniel on Friday, 25 October. We will have lots of therapy dogs with their handlers on hand for anyone who needs a bit of extra support during the day. Additionally, lots of us will be bringing our family dogs, companions and possibly some working dogs – all dogs are welcome🤎Some of us will join the walk, while others will be under a marquee at the finish line—with puppies joining us there too!

This walk is open to all, but for anyone who would like to join us and meet fellow dog lovers, we’d love for you to join our crew. It’s a wonderful opportunity to walk together and connect with like-minded dog lovers. Below are the details:
