We’ve been using WormCheck for a couple of years now and highly recommend for all goat owners. 🪱
It’s important to regularly check your goats for worms and monitor them throughout the changing seasons to ensure they stay healthy. When you do a faecal egg count with WormCheck they will let you know if your goats need treating for worms based on the test results. At $10 a 💩 sample it’s a cost effective way to keep your goats healthy!

WormCheck also does pick ups at Mega Merch in Ballarat if you’re located closer to us and has a postal service!

We’re very pleased to share that our gorgeous buck, Silverfern Victor Vito, has measured in at 55cm at his third birthday. This means that he is officially registered as Herdbook Purebred - the highest grade in Aussie Mini’s. Victor is such a sweet and kind natured boy, qualities which he passes onto his kids. 🥰

It was moving day for the 6-month-old kids! They’ve been swapped into a new paddock for grazing - it’s been unusually dry here this year but there was still a few patches of green for them to enjoy 😋 Featuring a special close up from Queenie 😂

Introducing Aggie! (Riverstone Agatha All Along)
After the passing of Beatle, Betty was in need of a friend! We’ve been very fortunate to bring home another beautiful little doe from Riverstone Miniature Goats 💕 Aggie is full of life and enjoys sharing cuddles & her opinions (loudly 😉) at every given opportunity. We’re absolutely smitten and Betty couldn’t be happier! 😊🐐

It was a heartbreaking night here with our little kid, Beatle, passing away. 💔 Unfortunately it had become apparent over the last week that Beatle had a congenital malformation and that his time with us would be short. He was well loved in his short life and was kept comfortable and happy until the end.
Beatle’s twin, who died at birth, also had some malformations which our vets believe is consistent with either a mosquito born virus or toxic plant ingested during pregnancy. We are awaiting test results to confirm but fortunately there is no risk to our other goats.
Rest in peace Beatle & Bea - two very special goats💙🩷

We’re very excited to introduce Betty (Riverstone Black Beauty) who has joined us to be Beatle’s companion while we are bottle raising him. This stunning girl will make a wonderful addition to our future breeding herd but for now she is a snuggle buddy and playmate for little Beatle 🥰

The adventures of Beatle! Beatle is doing very well so far. He’s feeding well, enjoying plenty of cuddles, lots of jiggles and has met his half brother and sisters. He is a lovely little fella.

It’s been a tragic weekend here at Rosewood Lodge Farm with the loss of our beautiful doe, Bea, & one of her kids.
Bea started kidding on Sunday night and delivered a beautiful healthy boy, Beatle unassisted. Bea was then unable to deliver the second twin and underwent an emergency Caesarian. Sadly, the kid was dead on delivery and had caused irreparable damage to Bea.
Bea was a favourite here with her gentle personality and sassy attitude. She’ll be deeply missed by us and her older kids, who’ve been crying out in the paddock for her.
Bea was able to mother and feed little Beatle before she passed and one of the photos below are of just after he was born. He is now being raised by us on the bottle.
Rest in peace Bea, you will be missed 💕

It‘s moving day for the mums & kids! They’re all enjoying their fabulous kennels from Stoneman Constructions and lots of green grass. These kennels are amazing and we highly recommend them as goat shelters. 🐐

Naughty Maisy decided that the tree inside the tree-guard looked rather tasty. So over the fence she hopped to have her own private buffet! Caspar was a quick learner and soon followed her in. Safe to say that gumtree won’t be growing anytime soon!
