MOBILE DOG WASH/GROOMER IN THE ETTALONG/WOY WOY AREA

Dog lover needed to walk in and take over existing clientelle.
We’re in need a part time view to full time operator in the above area. The demand for our service in this area has left us with an amazing opportunity for the right person to work within our team.

More baits are being found around our Southern Beaches and off lead areas.
Please keep a close eye on your pets while out and about

⚠️WARNING - DOG OWNERS ON THE CENTRAL COAST

We have received reports of baits being placed at Pearl, Umina and Ocean Beaches on the Central Coast, particularly in or near to off-leash areas. Reported baits have been removed and disposed of as far as possible.

We ask dog owners to:

👀 Remain vigilant and on the lookout for baits

🐶Know where you are walking your dog and whether your dog is required to be on a lead

🐩Keep an eye on your dog at all times when walking in a public space and monitor what they are consuming

🏥If your dog becomes ill from the suspected eating of a bait, please take them to a vet immediately

We have reported these matters to the NSW Police Force (NSWPF) and NSW Environment Protection Authority (NSW EPA). ☎️ If you come across a potential bait, please report this to Council on 4306 7900, so that we can co-ordinate clean-up and refer the incident to the NSWPF and the NSW EPA. Our Rangers will be undertaking additional patrols of these beaches over the coming weeks.

Next time you go to the vet please have them check your pet’s microchip details.
There are so many animals that are delayed in being reunited, or worse still, never make it back to their families because microchip details are either not up to date or the details never get entered into the system.
If you have moved or changed your phone number, email addresses etc please make sure you update your details.

🐾 What does this mean? - If your pet gets a tick and is admitted to hospital we or any other vet clinics in the area may NOT HAVE the necessary tick serum to save their life.
🐾 What can you do? - PREVENTION IS THE VERY BEST THING YOU CAN DO FOR YOUR PET. There are many different products from chew, spot ons & collars. Just be sure they are up to date so they are fully protected.
Check your pet over every day and if you find a tick remove it immediately if you can and call your closest vet.
