This is our lovely friend Dostum. We were looking after her last month, doing daily visits to feed her. Sadly, one morning I arrived to find she has passed away overnight. She was an older girl and had heart issues most of her life but it was still a shock to her family when I had to share the sad news. She was a very affectionate lady and we offer our condolences to her family. ❤️

My first job of the year was with my new friends, Bambi, the Pomeranian and Bahli, the Staffy. They are best buddies and it was fun watching them playing together.

I have been a bit slack over the last couple of months and haven’t posted. During this time I have made some new friends. The cheeky chap is Winston and we have had the pleasure of staying with him twice and he is a little darling.

Look at these faces ❤️ May I introduce you to Sparky and Dottie. These sweeties are both 16yo. Sparky feels every minute of her age. She still loves a walk but it is a short slow one on achy legs. Dottie sometimes scampers like a little puppy but her eyesight and hearing are failing. Both are very affectionate with lots of love to share.

We had some sad news last week. One of our OG clients Corky, sadly passed away. She moved to a rural town so we hadn’t looked after her for a while. We send our love to her parents and her brother Benny ❤️

Something different. Last month we had the sweetie Benny come and stay at our house. Because of our cat, Betty, we don’t usually have pets at our place for extended stays, but after a successful meet and greet, Benny came for a week. Betty and Benny were both a bit wary around each other but it was a calm week and Benny made himself right at home.

Winter in Melbourne. Such a lovely day. Took Molly to the beach and then to the park to run and roll all the sand off. Saw some friendly parrots on the walk in between.

This sweet lady is my new friend, Lucca. She is 13yo but still quite sprightly. Loves her garden, going for walks so she can get new smells and loves a pat behind her ears. I spent a few nights with her this week and we had a lovely time. Also featuring my daughter, Chloe who sometimes helps us out but is also the reason we can stay over with others while she holds down the fort at home.
