It was such a nice day yesterday that we took Molly to the beach. Followed by a walk to park to roll in the grass to get the sand off.

This sweet lady is my new friend, Lucca. She is 13yo but still quite sprightly. Loves her garden, going for walks so she can get new smells and loves a pat behind her ears. I spent a few nights with her this week and we had a lovely time. Also featuring my daughter, Chloe who sometimes helps us out but is also the reason we can stay over with others while she holds down the fort at home.

I was reunited with my OG client, Sonny, this week. I hadn’t seen him since late last year as his family were travelling for an extended period. But was happy to be contacted by them requesting that we start up our regular weekly walks again.

This week I went to visit with this little cutie, Jordy, while his family went away. He loves to play chasey and also loves to snuggle.

Alan also spent the week with our friends Luna, the Rottie and Angus, the Siamese as well as visits with regulars, Larry, the greyhound, Sonny, the Kelpie and Bruno and Stella, the Frenchies, but he did not take any new photos.

I finished the week with a new friend, Barold. He is a lovely fellow and we veged out on the couch together for a couple of days.

Last week was a busy one for us. I started the week reuniting with Penny and Koko who I first stayed with early last year.

We had some sad news this week. Our friend Maeve lost her battle with cancer. Her mother made the brave decision to end her suffering and she peacefully crossed to the rainbow bridge 🌈. We will miss Maeve but will continue to give our love to her sister Molly. ❤️

We recently had the lovely Luna stay at our place for a few days. I started out staying at her house and bringing her around during the day but as she felt more comfortable we decided (with her family’s consent) she could stay full time. Our cat, Betty, whilst not thrilled, was ok with the visitor. We are happy to discuss having pets at our house.

Meet Pebbles. I just spent a couple of weeks with this little darling while her family travelled over the school holidays. She is a darling and I enjoyed every minute with her.

Last Tuesday I had an early walk with our friend Larry. It was a gorgeous morning, with barely a breath of wind.

I had the privilege of taking this beautiful lady on a daily walk over Easter. Cassie is an older lady who sadly had her eyes removed due to tumours. As her vision was already virtually gone it was the best way to stop the tumour spreading. This does not stop her enjoying her walks and with a few instructions, she even manages stairs. She is a sweetie. ❤️

It was lovely to see our friend Opa, this week. She just can’t decide whether she wants to play with her ball or her frisbee. She loves them both.

Today we two lovely visitors come and stay at our place while their family hosted a special event at home. We enjoyed having Chutney and Bella but, our cat Betty stayed upstairs. As they were only going to be here a few hours, we didn’t push it.

First job of the new year and I am once again spending time with the lovely Fidel. One of his favourite things is a tissue paper massage. I used his tissue paper to turn him into a superhero.

We just had our son and his family from Adelaide stay with us over Christmas. That included our grandpuppy Ruby. Our little furball, Betty has not had a lot of experience with dogs in her short life but did well to exert a bit of dominance in her house. That bodes well to maybe having dogs in our home in the future.

A sad time for us. We had to farewell our lovely Lottie last week. After a short battle with illness, we made the difficult decision to ease her suffering. She was only 5 but left a lasting impression on our family and will be sadly missed.

I just had an extended stay with this lovely older gentleman. Fidel is a 14yo Devon Rex and has some health issues that require medication three times a day. His cuddles more than make up for that, though. ❤️

Dogs do rule in the homes we go to. We have had quite a few of the names on the list. Happy to add more. If your dog rules your home and you are going away, please think about having us come and stay.

How gorgeous is this boy? Spent a week with Champ recently and what a sweet boy he is! Even took him for a play with a few of our other clients which he loved, but he is not a fan of the car so we only did it once.

Recently had an extended stay with this beautiful lady. Her name is Killara which I am told is a native aboriginal word meaning “always by your side”. She certainly lives up to her name as she is never more than a couple of feet away.

Staying with Raj, the newest addition to our family. Raj was recently adopted by my mother. He had been living with a relative and he just didn’t get along with their other cat. My mum was looking for a new companion and the universe put them together. He is now king of his new domain.

When Sonny met Cooper. One of our original clients, Sonny met our newest client, Cooper today. With approval from both owners, we took these two down to Williamstown off leash area for a play today. Beautiful weather for a winter day and the guys got on fine.
