🖤🦇 I just want to introduce......MR PALMER.
- He is suspected to be in his 20s,
He has old age cataracts/ blindness. He is huge , when relaxed and stretched out he is over 40cm long.[ the average is 23-28cm ]. He is an absolute sweetheart, very calm and doesn't mind all the Orphans around him.

🖤🦇..Its Been Long Enough!
My final 2 beautiful orphan Black FF babies from 2024 are ready to be free.
IVY & WAYNO ,they were late tiny bubs who were not big enough to go with the big bunch of released Orphans earlier in the year.
They are in an outdoor cage now where I have been also leaving goodies outside to attract the already released bats at night.
They have had visitors for over a week now, so when I open their door they will have other batties to show them the ropes. There is a camp nearby along a creek :)❤️

🖤🦇...Well She is half their size and a little fighter, but BLU has no trouble now doing what she wants. That's her with her head in the feed dish at night .( not a care in the world! ) That is Also her up front getting the morning sun in the day cage.😍
[[ BLU was the little girl found malnourished and clinging to life last week. She is literally half the size of the other 5 orphan babies.]]

😢 We have Found Mass Abandonment of Little Red Flying Fox Babies in one of our local colonies. We have Rescued quite a few like this little girl, BLU.
The ones we do Rescue are extremely malnourished,dehydrated and at their near end. [ lots of small meals!]
Many ,many deaths recorded each day. It seems the blossoms and good food have dried up and little Red Flying Foxes have had to move on for food sourcing without their babies that can't fly yet.

😪 Still Finding Very young Orphan Reds.
This little girl is 95grams and very thin She was also found almost like a frozen ice pack!.
I warmed her up slowly with my own body heat until we got home and into the humdicrib. A few hours later she is wanting some warm milk :)
🤞she is ok. Hopefully no underlying problems later on.
