Today I turn 49 years old. 🥳 I am so grateful for being able to do what I love in a beautiful part of the world. I get to work outside every day with dogs, some have been with me almost 10 years. Not everyone gets to live out their dreams and for that I feel very lucky. I hope that my health and age allow me to continue doing what I love for many years to come. Our RSPCA Wildlife Hospital is seeing so many baby possums, gliders, baby bats, and joeys that they are running low on pouch liners to help care for these little ones!

Our Wildlife Hospital was very fortunate to receive a wonderful donation of fabric for pouches! This is where your crafty skills come in...

If you’d like to help sew for wildlife, email our Team at [email protected] to arrange a time to collect some fabric, or if you have some scrap flannelette, light cotton or jersey material to spare our littlest wildlife friends would be very thankful.

UPDATE: this pup is still looking. We had two people scheduled to meet him Sunday but both postponed at last minute. One had an ill child and the other bought another dog that morning. So please contact us if you are interested.

Sometimes, for all concerned, rehoming a dog is the best course of action. No one wants to do this but sometimes there is no other viable option.
After training and trying their utmost, an elderly couple in their 80s have asked us to help find a home for their very active six month old desexed cavoodle.
He must go to a knowledgeable and active home where he will be exercised and not left alone all day. A good sized well fenced yard is a must. Apart from the normal teen behaviours, he does not have any major issues from our observations, just needs lots of fun and training which his current owners cannot provide because of unexpected health issues.
The new owner must commit to keeping up with training and he will come with one free lesson from CLEAR Dog Training to help them start off on the right foot.
Price is by negotiation but he will not be a giveaway to ensure the new owner is serious about having a dog.
If you think you would be the perfect furever home for this little cutie please get in touch by DM telling us a little about yourself and why you would be the perfect home. Please include a phone number so we can ring you to have a chat early next week.

Some parts of our day involve running, digging, chasing balls and wrestling. These are high energy activities I like to call in the orange zone. We like to keep most of our day in the green zone, low energy, gentle, neural and calm. Those of you in Brisbane, please keep an eye out for baby cane toads. The wet weather has provided perfect breeding conditions for them. These are poisonous when ingested by cats and dogs so keep your furbabies safe. These guys are currently hopping around day and night. On acreage we are lucky enough to have predators so hopefully they will be culled soon. 🐸

Our Story

We have been offering Doggy Day Care Services for nearly 7 years and have great experience in managing dogs in a group environment. I am trained in dog behaviour and reading dog’s body language to maintain a safe environment for dog’s to play. I am also qualified in pet first aid.

Doggy Day Care provide structured days of physical and mental activities and enrichment. We have a beautiful 2.5 acre property with a fully fenced playground for the dogs. They dogs have space to run, play and be dogs. We encourage digging, scent-work, water play and activities designed to trigger their instincts. Once they have had a day of being dogs, they can have a bath, get their nails clipped and go home smelling wonderful with a bag of home-made natural dog treats.

Canine Massage (Canine Myofunctional Therapy) is an holistic, hands-on therapy that involves the manipulation of the soft tissue structures of the body to prevent and alleviate pain, muscle spasms, and stress. Canine Massage is a natural therapy that increases circulation and nutrient supply to muscles which promotes the body’s ability to heal itself.

Canine Massage can be used as a treatment therapy, alongside other medical aids, for conditions such as arthritis, muscle spasms, torn ligaments or as a maintenance therapy for performance or active dogs.
