Hey guys, just a non-pet sitting - pet supplies business update

Do not buy from Melbourne mode

I got scammed during the recent break in which I was sick with Covid. This company looked to be legitimate with secure, shopping and ads on Facebook and a facebook shop front . ( all i wanted was some comfy sandals for my wide feet )

Those that know us personally know that we are a legitimate business in Australia, and are based in Canberra, but that is those who know us .

Please be careful if you haven’t heard of a business before, do not buy from them. Make sure they have social proof and look for reviews.

Saying that, though it wasn’t until after people realised they’ve been scammed during the recent Boxing Day sales that it was undercovered that Melbourne mode was in fact, a scam agency. There is a whole YouTube section about this as well as it appears on Google .

Well on the days that has a padlock or states it has secure shopping that the website actually will be legitimate which is really fricking sad because we recently expanded our pets business to include pet supplies which we are super duper happy about and we love that we are making our customers happy What we don’t love was the fact that as a new pet supplies business we will put through the absolute ringer with meta and Google. I mean it’s important I know that but how do they scammers? Manage to pretend that they’re actually a business I mean it absolutely disgust me that people could rip people off like that.

Anyway, that’s enough of my rant I am still recovering from Covid, so please forgive me.

The tips they are these

If you haven’t heard of the business before search their social media, if they don’t have a social media presence do not buy from them

If they are not listed on Google business, do not buy from them

Honestly, it makes me sick that so many unfortunate people would’ve been scammed by the same. People would if they never checked their credit card statement as I did what if they’re away on holidays and come back to an empty bank account .

They took two transactions from my credit card and sent me a 15.00 pair of sandals from ali express. I gotta say i got lucky according to the scam report people are lucky to be sent anything .
