☕️🐕WTF actually is a puppacino?🍦

Puppacinos.
You’ve heard of them.
You’ve probably seen one.
You’ve maybe bought one for your furry friend.

But do you know what it actually is?

It does change depending on where you’re purchasing your puppacino from, but the general consensus is a puppacino is a small, non-toxic serving of whipped cream.

But, is it good for dogs?🤔

The occasional indulgence of a puppacino is harmless, but there are a few things we should keep in mind.

✅ Moderation is key (as with any treat!) 🔑Puppacinos are typically high in fat and sugar, which can lead to digestive issues if given too frequently and/or in too large of quantities. Having them only as an occasional treat is safest!

✅ Lactose intolerance 🥴 Many dogs, like people, are lactose intolerant; lacking the enzymes to break down lactose in milk products. This can lead to upset stomachs and discomfort. Idk about you but I’ve been gas chambered by my Frenchie one too many times from her eating something that’s not her usual dry bikkie diet 🥲

✅ There are alternatives! 👍If your pup has a sensitive stomach or you’re concerned about the ingredients, there are always alternatives like frozen fruit treats, pup-friendly biscuits, or even small pieces of dog safe fruits like blueberries!

It is finally feeling like Summer, but I think it might be feeling a bit too much like Summer. It is 34C in Brisbane today!

Make sure you do not take your dogs out in the heat, pamper them inside with air con and treaties 🦴 If you’re an early bird, morning walks are a treat! And if not, evening walks are (almost) just as lovely!

Our collars range in size for extra-small (puppies!) to large (big woofers). 🐾🐕Each collar has several lengths achievable with the buckle, so it can fit your pup as they grow.

We like to use a harness for Mocha when she is out being super active, but a collar when we go for walks or little adventures🌲🌳
