At Benchmark Feeds, long-term sustainability of our feeds is important to us and that's why, we're reducing our reliance on imported soy hulls and transitioning to Australian-grown lupin hulls across our feed range.

WHY LUPIN HULLS?
✅Lupin Hulls have much in common with Soy Hulls. They are both low starch and sugar, highly fermentable fibres that stimulate the production of volatile fatty acids (VFAs), the fats that are our horse’s natural energy supply.

WHAT'S CHANGING:
In Australia, Perfect Mash and Super Fibre Mash now feature a 50:50 blend of Lupin and Soy Hulls. There are no other changes to the formulations.
You might notice a slight change in soak time or pellet colour - but the performance of the feed remains the same!

💚Balancer Mash - Lupin Hulls replace Soy Hulls 100% in this formulation making the feed soy free.

💛Golden Oldies, CoolAZ & INVEST - Lupin Hulls replace Soy Hulls 100% in our three steam extruded feeds, also making them all soy free.

💙Achieve -Sport - Lupin Hulls replace Soy Hulls 100%, making this feed soy free.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU?
No Feed Transitioning Needed: You can continue feeding your horses as usual with no adjustments required.

Consistent Nutrition: The nutritional differences, while minor, are published in downloadable product data sheets on our website.
There are no changes to feeding rates or to the application of any feed.
We recommend weighing the feed to ensure consistent feed measures.
