Arctic Jewel is definitely enjoying her blow dry!
Kevin and Tully
Kevin and Tully are making some amazing progress. Keep up the great work!
Kevin
Kevin is enjoying the change of pace since retiring from racing back in September. Keep up the great work Ashleigh Hampton
From riding through scary gutters, hectic traffic, mountain bikers, construction sites, jet shows and everything else a horse may find scary. Kevin made it to the paradise of a beautiful beach where he experienced waves for the first time. By the end of the ride, he was known as Mr confidence and has shown his new home his willingness to learn and thrive in new environments.
I think it’s safe to say Kevin is enjoying his dress up pool party a little too much!
Lindsay’s forever home
I think it’s safe to say Lindsay has found an extremely loving home. I can’t wait for the future updates!
Thank you Linda and Tullock for giving him a home!
Lindsay
✨Lindsay✨
✨Rehomed✨
Lindsay is a beautiful 5 year old thoroughbred bay gelding. He’s only little but extremely stocky, with an estimate of 14.3hh. Due to his slow nature, Lindsay only made it to a jump out in his racing career before he retired due to more woah then go. Lindsay can self load, he is easy to shoe, worm, wash, saddle, tie up and lead off the car. Can be cheeky to catch but nothing bad. He can be left in the float while getting food or filling up, and he will just stand there so quietly, you could forget that he is in there. He is an extremely good doer. Can go months/weeks between rides and he wouldn’t put a foot out of place. He has no nasty behaviour both on ground or under saddle. He knows the basics in flat work. Walk, trot, canter and definitely has breaks. Has a really soft mouth. I have a beginner currently riding him under supervision, and Lindsay has been great for him. There have been moments where the rider loses balance and Lindsay comes to a stop straight away. The rider has taken him over poles and just been gaining confidence ridding out side of the round yard. He has been exposed to many things such as goats, cows, tractors, mirrors, traffic cones, tires and chaff bags.
Lindsey wasn’t happy he didn’t get chosen to work first, so he decided he would do it himself ✨
Missy and Sophie having their first outing as a team. Great to see them going around beautifully. Thank you Kate Thurgood for the updates!
Lindsey preparing to take his food to go!
The extraordinary Kevin has found a forever home with Ashleigh Hampton. Kevin is well known for showing off his tongue anywhere and everywhere. Knowing the both of them, I’d say they will stick together like glue and get up to a lot of mischief together. Good luck dealing with these two Carina Hampton ✨
Great to see Bella is out and about! Thank you Erika Meads for giving her new opportunities 🍀
Great to see Bella has found an amazing home, with making great companions for life!! Can’t wait to see where Erika Meads and Bella end up✨
There is only one thing James cannot get enough of, and that is food! Whether it be top of the line feed or scraps from the stable. He will eat it regardless! Hopefully he will find his forever home soon 🤩
Captain Dan is enjoying his life after racing alongside Astro and Lambington. Astro is also an off the track thoroughbred while little Lambington is their lamb companion. Well done to Emma Coochin for having them look spectacular!
Sylvan Jester is definitely enjoying his life after racing! Glad to see he is still puts on a show for everyone ✨ Logan Hodgkin
Mr Menzies
Rehomed ✨
Mr Menzies aka “Steven” is a 7 year old brown thoroughbred gelding. He is roughly 16.3hh. Steven was retired from racing in April 2022 and has been spelling in the paddock since. Steven is a super sweet boy, easy to shoe/catch/float/worm/wash. He had his very first ride since racing in April 2022 and was a true gentleman. He knows the basics and is looking for a home to further his education in any discipline they wish. He’s been desensitised from sheep, dogs, mirrors, traffic cones and flying bags. He has shown no evidence of malice or unsettled behaviour. He is sound however he has a scar on his front leg but doesn’t affect him at all. I’ve put a beginner on him under supervision and he’s been perfect. He is a good doer in the paddock. Has been known for wind sucking but has showed no evidence of this in recent months. He’s located in Wagga. Pm for more information and price.
