Our Story

Welcome! Demlane Farm is located on the beautiful Dorrigo Plateau, with 106 hectares of rolling pasture and 20 hectares of dedicated wildlife refuge. Demlane Farm is a family run enterprise, with Michael and Cynthia managing the property, and daughter and son-in-law Meghan and Ben managing the produce and marketing.

Our farming system is diverse and is supported by our complementary animal and plant systems. Up until recently we have been an Angus beef farm, but are in the midst of introducing our first flock of LambPro sheep! We hope to add heritage meat chickens to our farming system in the near future as well, to create a complementary pasture management system (and supply chicken that tastes like chicken to the local area too). We also have a diverse range of fruit, vegetable, herb and nut crops which we supply to local restaurants.
