It all started with a Labrador named Maple.

We picked her up at 8 weeks of age and like everyone we felt like we were prepared for a puppy. We were so excited that weeks before her arrival we had bought her endless toys, a warm soft bed and food the breeder had told us she was already eating. What we weren't prepared for was the explosive diarrhea all over our house. We couldn't understand why this was happening and initially blamed the bre

eder and thought they must of told us the wrong type of food. It went on for months where we tried different foods and they all resulted in the same outcome. The last resort was to make her food from scratch which we can all agree becomes tiring and expensive. As she got older we were able to find one brand of dry food in one particular flavour that she would tolerate. However, being a Labrador she started packing on weight from the high fat content. My mum told me about this product she had being buying for her staffy. Zali, the staffy, is allergic to most things and there isn't much that doesn't make her skin and mouth itchy. Mum told me about how this product had being the only food they could feed Zali that reduced her itchy skin and didn't make her mouth turn red after eating it. And so we discovered B.A.R.F. We are so proud to be sharing this product with you all and hope that health issue or not, your pet thrives from eating it just like our Maple did.

BLOOD DONATION REGISTRY - WE ARE LOOKING FOR DONORS! 🩸

This is Murphy (pictured with his mum, Nurse Monique), Murphy is a generous blood donor who regularly donates blood at our hospital.
Although, there’s only so much blood he can give! We are looking for more superhero’s like Murphy to join our list of amazing blood donors so we can continue to provide a life-saving service for our patients.

What does it take to be a blood donor?
Your pooch must meet the following requirements:

🐶 Healthy (a free health exam will be performed by a Qualified Nurse)
🐶 Weighs at least 30kg
🐶 Between 1-8 years of age
🐶 Up to date with vaccinations, heartworm prevention and intestinal worming.
🐶 Has a confident and friendly temperament
🐶 Available at short notice

If you think you might have a superhero at home please email us at [email protected] with your details and your pets details.
A team member will be in touch to organise a meet and greet with you and your pet to perform a complimentary health exam, discuss the procedure and associated risks and answer any questions you may have about the donation process.
Your pet will also receive complimentary blood tests prior to their donation, this will be discussed in more detail during your consultation with a nurse.
