REACTIVE REHAB welcomes Douglas the Dachshund x Pug who has been working hard on private consultations and has been attending specialised doggy daycare sessions. Today his settled behaviour and ability to focus on his human were outstanding; even brought a tear to a few eyes! The commentary will tell you more.

After four weeks of tail wags, treats, and training, this amazing group has officially graduated! These superstar pups (and their awesome humans) worked hard each week, mastering basic skills, focus exercises, and all-important desensitization. 🐾✨

FERN BAY GOOD MANNERS GRADUATION: These two participants have been with us since before Christmas. With a break over the festive season, they’ve returned with determination to finish their journey of learning in the new year. Both dogs have improved in focus and reliability when required to respond to their humans in the presesence of distractions. We are so proud of the results they’ve achieved and hope they’ll return to us for a revision of what they’ve learnt or an extension into our Advanced Good Manners course. ANNA BAY GOOD MANNERS GRADUATION: A very satisfying final lesson of our 6-week course. We had dogs that previously wouldn’t lie down able to lie down, dogs that couldn’t sit still near other dogs now able to do so and dogs that couldn’t focus on their humans able to do this within the distractions of class. These are life skills that are vital for a dog’s positive existence in our community and society. Our next round of classes starts at Anna Bay next Sunday, February 16 at 9:30am.
