Hi everyone! Az and I took a hiatus from knitting but we are back! I just wanted to let people know that I am keeping the prices of my wool beds/blankets as they are atm however, my wool keeps going up so unfortunately there will come a time when I will need to put my prices up to cover costs. So if you are wanting to purchase a SnugglePod, SnuggleBlanket or a scarf, please make the most of the current price.

I wanted to share my gorgeous 3 kg cobalt SnuggleBlanket as I have no idea how I survived so many winters without it! It is the warmest blanket I have ever used, I haven’t turned the electric blanket one once this winter and my room often gets down to 6-8 degrees. We sandwich it between our top sheet and the doona and it keeps us toasty warm. My blanket is almost a year old now and I honestly don’t know how I did without it. Currently I have 2kg SnuggleBlankets available on our website www.snugglepods.com.au but if you would like a 3kg, please message me.

We have two gorgeous new colors to add to the collection. The top SnugglePod I’m calling silver but I am still trying to name the other color. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

They are both so pretty, the photos don’t do them any justice. Now I want a SnuggleBlanket in silver, time to see if I can con hubby into letting me have one.

I have been madly knitting after a flurry of orders and just finished another SnuggleBlanket. This is the third blanket for a very lovely customer, she bought it for her Mum for Mother’s Day and I know she is going to love it. I have another I’m working on now, a 3 kg cobalt SnuggleBlanket and I can’t wait to see how that one photographs. Az on the other hand is not happy with my blanket making. He’s not allowed in my lap while knitting and as far as Az is concerned, that is just not fair. Poor Az, I am waiting for the RSPCA to show up at my door 😩😂😂

Hi everyone, it is Azzie here!!

My Mummy asked me to step in and take charge as she is very busy making your SnugglePods and SnuggleBlankets and I’m not sure how to feel about this. On the one hand, I get to lay by her side and cuddle against her as she knits your lovely new beds but I’m rather upset ‘cos she won’t let me lay in her lap. That’s where the wool is and that is the best place to be! I’ve tried the sneak attack, slowly creeping up, nudging under her elbow and moving in at a sloth like pace hoping she won’t notice - she did. My chirping and giving her baby eyes to see if she will take pity on me didn’t work. I even tried ignoring her but I caved after only a few minutes, I knew that tactic wouldn’t work.

I know you love your SnugglePods as much as I do and the humans must love their SnuggleBlankets as she tells me she has lots to make but I miss my Mumma! I can be bribed with kitty treats however, I will be setting up a go-fund-Azzie page for all those who feel sorry for me - you feel sorry for me, right? I mean, who wouldn’t!?!

Oh, and Mummy just told me to remind you, if you have an order waiting to please be patient. We will get to every last one as soon as we can (of course I help make each and every piece). Mummy is also waiting for a big wool order as well and as soon as it arrives I will email you all personally.

Thank you for your patience, you are all going to love your SnugglePods and SnuggleBlankets as much as I love mine.

In exactly one month it will be Christmas Eve and Azzie and I can’t wait! We have been madly making SnugglePods for some very lucky kitties and pups, I can’t think of a more comfy place for cat nap after a big lunch of roast turkey and dine lickey treats. We do have a longer wait time due to demand but I will do everything I can to have your SnugglePods out in time for the big day ♥️

Hey everyone, I do apologise for our hiatus from Facebook but Azzie and I have been hard at work making SnugglePods for very lucky kitties. We have had a few people ask if we are still making our beds and we certainly are, Az is a bit of a slave driver and tells me that his kitty customers come before FB updates. Happy Birthday to my sweet Azrael, you are 3 today! My baby has brought me so much love, joy and laughs, I don’t know where I would be without him. He is still waiting for his present to arrive (a drinking fountain) but he has been very spoilt today being carried everywhere and spending an early Caturday with me (his favorite thing to do). I love you to the moon and back, baby boy ❤️❤️❤️😻😻♥️♥️♥️♥️💓💓💕💕🎂🎂🧁🧁

It has been a little while since I posted but Azzie and I are finally catching up on our orders, it seems there are lots of very spoilt cats out there. Hey everyone, I haven’t posted in a while because I’ve been flat out making SnugglePods for lucky kitties everywhere. I do want to share with you a drawing of Azzie, sent to me by an incredibly talented lady.

Jo Barrett recently decided to start doing commissions for pet drawings and her work is stunning. She send me this pastel drawing of Az in his SnugglePod and the detail and likeness of my cheeky man blew me away.

Jo is a fellow cat slave, she actually is owned by Azzie’s Grandpa and sister so we adopted each other as kitty family. I do know Jo is taking commissions for those interested however there will be a little bit of a wait as her work has quickly become popular.

I’ve been a bit slack posting photos as Azzie and I are flat out making SnugglePods to keep little kitties warm. This SnugglePod is a special one as it weighs 3 kg and is the very last of my lilac wool. It is going to a wonderful home though and I know there are some cats who are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their ultimate SnugglePod. They have so many already but you always need more! I added a little foot toy that I made, too. I thought the colours matched perfectly.

Thank you to everyone who continue to support us through this rather stressful time. My thoughts go out to everyone in Victoria, please stay safe and spend as much time home with your fur kids as you can.

Due to the uptick in cases, postage times are even slower meaning my wool can take even longer to get to me. I will make sure everyone gets their SnugglePods though and I do appreciate your patience as we are all doing the best we can.

I was going through some of my old photos and found this one from two years ago. I decided to knit Az a jumper (just to see if I could) and it worked out nicely. He actually used to run to me to have it on at night as my room gets very cold. I love the little hoodie on it, too. He looked very dapper (even with his eye crusties 😂)

To me, the beauty of the Maine C**n is unsurpassed. They are my absolute favorite cat breed and this little man sure knows how to pose. So, I had to say goodbye to this gorgeous SnuggleBlanket just now. This is the most beautiful colour, the photos really don’t do it justice. I have decided that I am going to give myself an early Christmas present and make a deluxe version in cobalt (using 4kg of merino wool). I haven’t told the other half yet, though lol. Aunty K knitted a SnugglePod for her favourite little boy and it is a hit! One of my most loyal SnugglePod customers is celebrating reaching 5000 followers on Instagram and is giving away a deluxe SnugglePod as a thank you to everyone for sharing in her love and passion of her furry kids and she would love for you to join in the fun.
