Ma has been juggling a lot with us two Cancer-Chemo boys, plus 17 other dogs in care and 5 paddock animals. It’s a lot, because of all the fundraising for our cancer needs, she has sort of avoided asking for help with other things…

Tick season is here and one dog has already died this year as a result of tick poisoning. 🐶💔
Make sure you check your dog thoroughly after every outdoor adventure, especially if you live in a paralysis tick area.
Ticks should be removed with a tick removal tool or tweezers by grabbing the tick as close to the skin as possible and pulling slowly and gently (squeezing the tick can release more toxins).
If you cannot safely remove a tick yourself or your dog is showing symptoms including weakness, wobbliness, or difficulty breathing, get to your nearest vet as soon as possible. 😟🐾

Poor Bear has had a few difficult nights lately between the wild winds and heavy rain. 🐻

️🚑🚑🚑Emergency Update from Life of Pikelet🚑🚑🚑
Patty is currently in emergency and financially would need to raise the remainder of this fund to cover his vet bills.
His Ma woke up this morning to blood everywhere and a small amount of diarrhoea, for the past week Patty has been pooping great, no blood, no issues. Last night he ate all his dinner and then begged for more.
His energy levels have been normal, maybe better than normal as he appeared to be feeling great.
It took an hour and 15 minutes to get to emergency and Ma pulled over multiple times as she thought he had passed.
Pikelet has not left his side, Ma had put Pikey in the car with Patty, on a dog bed, but came back and found him by Patty’s head pawing at him. He sat with Patty the whole journey.
His Ma knows people will be quick to judge and suggest euthanasia, but this is the first time Patty has been unwell during chemo.
We're not sure if today is the day Patty gains his wings but right now he is in emergency getting fluids and maybe oxygen and they will assess. This is the same hospital as his oncologist, tomorrow the boys both have appointments with Dr Laura, so this is the best place for him right now.
If you want to help cover the urgent costs for the best big baby boy in the world then here is how to help, realistically we know his bill will be over $5000 for testing and what not and possibly overnight care if he pulls up with treatment. We think aiming for the full $13,200 is wise.
We don’t know if it’s possible… We don’t know how much people have to give for Patty, it’s ok if you can’t, you’ve all been so generous over the years as it is ❤️
