To all of our beautiful puppy owners/future puppy owners and all of our Landsdale followers 🤍

I’m currently getting quite a few messages regarding available puppies/upcoming puppies and waitlists so I thought I’d pop up the post I’ve been trying to write for a few weeks now but have been putting off as it’s such an emotional one for me.

I have mentioned previously that we will be taking a break in breeding and that time is now here.

This current economy is killing the puppy market which in turn is seeing some of the best breeders I know put down their breeding hats and that includes us.

Being a responsible breeder means that our puppies come first always, it means that we need to know when to step aside and ride out the waves of the economy, these interest rates, the unaffordable cost of living and the current influx in puppies.

When we started our breeding journey we had a very clear vision of what we wanted in a breeding program and what we wanted to produce for all of our beautiful puppy families. This means we give our absolute all to the border collie breed and we give nothing but the best, high quality start to life for each puppy that joins us earth side. To keep that going means we need to ride this out for a while as we absolutely refuse to lower our standard in breeding.
This makes me extremely worried about the preservation of the border collie breed when so many of us out here doing the breed justice are needing to take a halt.

We will be back eventually and hope to re access the situation in the next 12-18 months.

We are still actively working behind the scenes for some exciting new lines for the future and we are excited to announce we will also be coming back as a Dogs Vic member 🐾

It’s an absolute pleasure to be able to raise the puppies that you can all call your forever fur babies and we look forward to when we can continue.

For now, we won’t be taking any waitlists or puppy enquiries but we sincerely thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for your endless support. We wouldn’t be here without you all 🥹🤍

My breeder mummy said we will find them so soon and we can’t wait! We are so excited to meet them and love them forever 🐶
