The collection of framed prints that we ended up choosing from Cooper’s gallery. The largest is the family portrait, offset with a slightly smaller print featuring the three sisters and Cooper (a recreation of an old childhood portrait). We completed the design with two small squares: a portrait of Cooper sweetly peering up at camera (fresh droplets of water from his dip in the dam still visible on his snoot) and another of Rita and David cuddling their boy.

Rita and David also own a beloved portrait of the three sisters as young girls, with their childhood family dog. “Would it be possible to recreate that shot?” Rita asked me. Say no more! I loved the idea, so the sisters snuggled down on the picnic rug with Cooper and we ended up including the portrait in their collection of frames for the living room.

Laura organised this epic family photoshoot as a gift for her parents, and our main goal for the day was to capture a family portrait to hang on their living room wall. As always, I shot a variety - some standing, some walking, some formal and some casual. In the end, we chose sweet shot of everyone cuddled on the picnic rug. A golden flare of Autumn sunshine cast a warm glow on the scene, and Cooper smiled happily right in the middle of his family - perfection!

Cooper and Kobe barked excitedly as they raced through Darebin Parklands. The two furry explorers had a knack for sniffing out the best trails and hidden spots in the park. Cooper is a Kelpie x Border Collie adopted from the RSPCA, who loves swimming in the river and snuggling on the couch with his humans. Kobe is a goofy Kelpie cross, adopted from K9 Rescue. He loves licking his humans and being told he is a Good Boy. Together they led the way, with Cooper's ears perked up high and Kobe's tail wagging eagerly behind, as they raced through the lush greenery. Their energy was infectious, spreading to everyone they passed on the trail.

Together we designed an asymmetrical gallery wall, which I mocked up against photos of David and Linda’s real home so we could get the layout and sizing perfect. We chose a gorgeous trio to be displayed together: David and Linda with their beloved dog Wally taking center stage, surrounded by two adorable solo shots of their furry friend.

Cooper - the most loyal and affectionate, sooky boy you'll ever meet!

Kobe - A very goofy boy who loves to lick his humans and wants plenty of attention!

Loves: Coop loves a walk or snuggling up on the couch with his humans. He's not too big on toys but equally isn't a fan of sharing with his cousin Kobe.

🌈 🐾 💔 REST IN PEACE, LOLA
I first photographed little Miss Lola five years ago, the youngest puggo to post for my Pug Hugs book. I was instantly smitten with her adorable head tilts. A few years later, I photographed her again (this time with her fur-brother Henry). She was no longer a puppy, but was just as excitable and adorable as ever!

So very sad to hear from her Mum that this small but mighty girl passed away recently, after losing her battle with cancer. She was still so young, but boy did this girl fit a LOT of love into her short life.

"When tomorrow starts without me,
And I'm not there to see,
The sun will rise and find your eyes,
All filled with tears for me.

I know how much you love me,
Almost as much as I loved you,
So when tomorrow starts without me,
I know you'll miss me too.

Takoda is a beautiful 13 year old Siberian Husky cross.

The grass at Williamstown Gardens was covered with autumn leaves on the day of our photoshoot, giving us the perfect backdrop to match his beautiful red fur.

Takoda didn't let his senior years slow him down during the shoot. We did zoomies, played with his favourite toy and even went down to the beach for a splash in the water (FREEZING down there for us humans, but Takoda was in his element).

Jordan had reached out, apologetic with the knowledge that I am *very* pregnant and had closed my bookings for my maternity leave. She asked if I could make a special exception for her old girl, who was quickly deteriorating. In a heartbeat. Mojo was slow on her paws, but happy. That suited me just fine, we both took our time getting up off the grass. Her little furry sister Sundae was wild and beautiful, excitedly grinning her wide staffy smile, covering her humans with slobbers and scooching in to lean on Mojo whenever she could. Mojo was soft and gentle. Treats were thrilling, of course, but she was happiest during the shoot when she had her family surrounding her on the picnic blanket. We went for a slow stroll, and once she got her pace up you could barely see the lag in the hind legs. They knew she didn't have much longer to stay here on Earth, but today she was shining bright with the joy of fresh air, yummy treats and so many cuddles. A few days later, she passed peacefully. Rest in Peace, Mojo. It was an honour to meet you ❤️
