Last Weekend out at RM Equestrian Centra with Mr Eric. I would like to thank and the major sponsors for this amazing event! thank you for sponsoring the EVA95 class, and a massive thank you to all the wonderful organisers and volunteers that make eventing possible.

The boy and I defiantly didn’t have the weekend I was hoping for, with a parting of rider and horse part way through the cross country. Massive thanks to all of those who checked in, making sure the grey kid and I were ok.

Heaps of homework and a plan is set moving forward to build the boy’s and my confidence back up. When his as talented as he is it makes it all worth it, only onwards and upwards from here 🤪🤩 Bring on our next Eventing competition 💪🏻💕🦄

Last Weekend out at Toowoomba with Mr Eric. The incredible grey kid, was on fire over the weekend. His first event stepping up to the EVA95 class and he did not disappoint. His silly rider costing us a rail in the showjumping, but finishing clear and under time to place 7th overall. Bring on our next Eventing competition

Eric and I finished 4th place in the EvA80 class over the weekend So beyond proud of this boy and all our hard work. His an incredibly talented boy and I am so excited for his future. A massive thank you to all the made it possible

Eric giving his tick of approval of our favourite shampoo .au Soothing and Calm Shampoo. With how hot and muggy the temperatures have been recently Eric’s been so itchy. This shampoo has really made a difference in calming his coat, with beautiful natural products! Bonus is he smells amazing too ❤️🐴

It’s been one of those weeks, came down with a bad head cold on Tuesday and have been taking it slowly since then, super lethargic, blocked nose, and sore throat… you know the usual. Eric’s taking a two week spell, to give him a well earned break. Mr Wh**ey has moved to a very trusted friend of mine’s property Wildwood Equestrian this is so his hooves can start to recover properly! As you can see the stables at night and pamper is in agreement with the Trusty White Man ❤️

When the grey kid makes everything in 80 look tiny 😂 think we will probably finish the year at 80 to build up his confidence out on course, and then see what the new year brings ❤️🫶🏻🤭

This past weekend Myself and Mr Eric along with the non-horsey partner headed off to our first Eventing competition of the year to Warwick Horse trials at Morgan Park. Let’s just say it was an eventful weekend full of ups and downs! But boy oh boy, I’m glad to be back out competing with the grey kid as my partner in crime.

Our dressage first up went well scoring mostly 6.5 -7 throughout the test, with some lovely comments from the judges. Considering it was out first event out together, second ever event for Eric and neither of us had been our in forever, to finish with a test of 71.56% I was stoked. We headed into the showjumping next, where the grey kid again didn’t miss a beat with a lovely clear round. A few tight strides in the course I’m so proud with how he handled everything.

On the Sunday we had cross country, where my goals were to be clear and on time, giving him a confident ride. As always I chat way too much to my horses through the course 😂 as some may know! Mr Eric was incredible out on course, so responsive and adjustable, just a few green moments. Overall he finished clear and on time, so very stoked with his run.

Absolutely wrapped to announce we finished overall in 5th in the EvA80 class in a very competitive field, finishing on our dressage score.

As some of you may know we had some major car issues which resulted in the car being towed to Blacks Toyota in Warwick and us all including the float getting lift home. So I would just like to say a massive thank you to .across.countries for getting us home! Could not have done this weekend without you ❤️
