Severe Thunderstorm Warning - Adelaide Region for DAMAGING WINDS and LARGE HAILSTONES
For people in Adelaide and parts of Onkaparinga, Mount Barker, Adelaide Hills, Western Alexandrina and Playford council areas.

Severe thunderstorms moving over the Adelaide area. The Bureau of Meteorology warns that, at 4:20 pm, severe thunderstorms were detected on the weather radar near Glenelg, Blackwood, Henley Beach and Kangarilla. These thunderstorms are moving towards the east. They are forecast to affect Adelaide City, Elizabeth, Mount Barker, Salisbury and Strathalbyn by 4:50 pm.
Damaging winds and large hailstones are likely.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Move cars under cover or away from trees.
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
The next warning is due to be issued by 5:20 pm.
A more general severe thunderstorm warning is also current for the Adelaide Metropolitan, Riverland and parts of the Mount Lofty Ranges, Murraylands, Mid North and North East Pastoral districts. refer http://ow.ly/rWAv50OHwG0
