Simon and his service dog Vespa.

Photographed as part of a new series of work in collaboration with the South African Guide-Dogs Association for the Blind Simon and Vespa's portrait will be exhibited at the Foto ZA Gallery in August.

Simon is wheelchair bound, so as well as being a devoted friend, Vespa assists him by picking things up off the floor (she gave me a demo, it was very impressive), opening doors & cupboards and being on alert to call for help should he need it.

It's been an absolute privilege to meet and photograph some of the Guide Dogs Association's clients and I can't wait to share the final images with you!

I never met Milo in person but a love of dogs and art and design meant that as humans we connected. I always thought I’d have the pleasure of meeting this beautiful soul in person but it wasn’t to be. Sending so much love to Mia and Jay on the loss of their perfect dog muse, Milo.
