📢📢❗️❗️📢📢
Unfortuately the increase in dogs being stolen keeps me awake at night! my worse fear! We are seeing pure breeds like Pugs, French Bulldogs, British Bulldogs and Dachshund seem to be high in the missing stats.
Some important information in keeping your dog safe:
📢❗️ALWAYS make sure you microchip details are up to date, have you moved? change address? is it in your name? contact your microchip company and check the details....if your dog goes missing call the microchip company and listed them as missing or stolen immediately, if you have your microchip number and not sure who the company is: http://petaddress.com.au
📢❗️Keep your dogs inside whenever you can when not home...if they are outside make sure they are not visible from the road/street, make sure you cannot see them through a gate/fence.
📢❗️Cameras...Security cameras are so cheap these days, Kogan, Catch and local retail stores sell them, are a great way to keep an eye on them when you're not home, most record and or you can recall past footage based on brand
📢❗Always check your fences and gate access regularly, walk around you fence line checking for holes, missing palings, signs of digging.
📢❗️When walking, be mindful of surroundings and people especially heading home, at off leash dog parks don't let dogs go to far from sight
📢❗️Desexing! can be a deterrent, some thefts are for breeding, remove the temptation if it is possible.
📢📢❗️❗️If you dog goes missing:
✔️Contact your microchip company immediately
✔️Post everywhere on social media
✔️Contact local vets and pounds
✔️Put up posters in local areas
As I know we do out best for our furries, they to can be venerable to people that are selfish and only interest in $$$
Take care

Simply type the microchip number in the search field; then click to search. If your number is found in one of the databases you will be directed to the database for further information.
