Who remembers that time when Cocker Spaniel Rescue Qld ended up with a poodle? True story! Silvie was adopted about a year ago, and since then, she's truly blossomed in her new home. She loves spending time in the garden and is like a little shadow, always following her mum wherever she goes. 🐩🌸❤️

Do you have a heart for dogs and want to make a difference?

Fostering a Cocker Spaniel can be a deeply rewarding experience, providing a loving temporary home while they await their forever family.

We're looking for dedicated families in SEQ who can foster on an ongoing basis, welcoming multiple dogs each year as the need arises.

Here's how the volunteer fostering process works with Cocker Spaniel Rescue Queensland (CSRQ):

- We receive many applications and carefully review each one. If you're a good match, we'll get in touch.
- Where appropriate, we’ll organise a home visit to ensure a safe and suitable environment.
- Where successful, we'll support foster families through the entire fostering process, from the moment a Cocker Spaniel arrives to the day they find their forever home.
Fostering allows these adorable dogs to experience less stress compared to staying in a shelter and whilst saying goodbye can be tough, the joy of seeing them thrive in their new home is priceless.
