We had our lovely vet Dr Matt around for a house call yesterday to do the vet check, vax & chip for the last kittens in our current litters. The kittens all passed with flying colours and enjoyed the attention as you can see here. This is Snowgum Alekazam having an examination 😃 Thank you for the extra special care you always give our kittens. We are so grateful to have you as part of our Snowgum team ❤️

One of my least favourite jobs that I need to do regularly is changing the treads on our cat wheels. We have 4 wheels so every cat has access to do a good cardio workout. Exercise is so important for health! But this means that the treads wear out quickly and they are such a pain to change! This time round, a heat gun made it easier (that's for the suggestion Sally!) and I've changed the tread to be marine grade carpet instead of self-adhesive foam tiles. I'm hoping this will last a lot longer, create less mess and be easier to remove it when it does need changing.
While its a super time consuming that job I really dislike, I do enjoy that I'm not in an office behind a desk all day like I used to be. I love that my job is so varied and not a day looks the same. Constant challenges to overcome and new skills to learn keep things interesting 💗💗💗

Exciting news at Snowgum! We are delighted for this chunky young chap "Rhinestone Phoenix Rising" to be joining our breeding program! Phoenix brings back some of our older lines and also brings us new lines! He is a gorgeous Red Classic Tabby Siberian so will allow us to breed some cheeky torties again! He comes to us all the way from Perth WA (it was a long flight for the poor lad at is was delayed by over an hour!). Many thanks to my lovely friend Sally of Rhinestone Siberians for allowing us to have this handsome young man and huge thanks to Riley and Kaleb for raising such a cool dude 😎 He has a phenomenal temperament which is testament to how well he has been raised 🥰

Pretty pictures of our current litters have all been taken! Now I've just got to sort them out and upload them, then I'll start emailing those on the waitlist one by one to choose your kitten! They are all absolutely adorable and very sweet so there are no right or wrong choices! We are thrilled to be able to offer such gorgeous kittens and we hope their new owners love them as much as we do! These kittens are all Pokemon named. This big handsome dude is Snowgum Umbreon 😃 We love his attitude 💪

After a break over winter we are expecting new babies to be born later this month! The proud parents are Snowgum Bubbles and GCH Hamilton Dei Colli Toscani. We are very excited and can't wait to welcome them into the world 😀 Expected colours are brown (black) tabby with or without cute white socks/muzzles. All kittens in this litter will have tabby markings and green and yellow eyes.

Today I was delighted to meet Amanda at her pet grooming salon "Groom 2 Grow" in Lindfield. Amanda grooms cats as well as dogs! So if your Sibi needs a little spruce up given that spring is coming soon, please give her a call or drop in. If you have a Snowgum Siberian she will make sure your kitty receives extra special attention 😃 Cat grooming can be done Mondays and Thursdays. Just over a year old now and weighing in at about 5.25kg. he is the floofiest cat I've ever met.

He loves playing and has learned to play fetch with his favourite toys. He likes nothing better than tearing up an egg carton or opening packages with us. Cardboard is his favourite thing to chew on.

He's a lovely boy and totally adores my son who bought him from you."

We will be repeating this mating this year and hope for some equally gorgeous babies in October 😍
