Our Story

Hobart’s original in-home alternative to boarding kennels, covering Hobart and surrounding suburbs. Have your best friend minded in the home of one of our experienced dog-loving minders. Your dog will have all the comforts of home. They can live inside, sleep inside, have play time and get plenty of pats and walks. Dogs Holiday Havens has a stable team of 14 hand-picked minders in Kingston, Margate, Blackmans Bay, Howrah, Oakdowns, Battery Point, Lenah Valley, New Town, Montrose and Austins Ferry. We visit and interview all minders, meet their dog/s (if they have one) and ensure their home is suitable and the property is secure.

Local owners, Belinda and Andrew Fenney-Walch, provide 24-hour back-up to the minders, in case of illness, injury or other unforeseen event.

Take your dog to visit your Minder in advance at their home, to ensure you are happy with where your dog will be staying. We are passionate about making your dog feel safe and loved while they are away from you. We care and are here to help.
