Rottweiler Coat Study

This breed requires regular trimming and cleansing. This loyal dog should be cleansed every two to four weeks, depending on his lifestyle and level of activity. With such a dense double coat, regular cleansing is necessary to prevent discharge and maintain healthy skin and fur.
You should brush your Rottweiler once or twice per week. During the coat windstorm, you will likely need to groom them daily to prevent your home from resembling the aftermath of a fur tornado. In addition to removing errant fur, brushing helps distribute natural lubricants throughout the coat.
