Big Boy Boris was the most purrfect kitty last week when he had his dental procedure.🐈🦷

Boris' dental procedure consisted of full mouth dental xrays, a very thorough exam and a nice clean and polish! A few teeth were marked as missing and the rest were returned to their pearly white state. 🤍

We just loved this big regal kitty and look forward to continuing his health care. 🐾🥰

Meet Nara, the most divine, happy, full of sunshine Boxer! 🐾🌻

A few weeks ago now Nara had a small lump removed from her back leg and from her ear by our fabulous Dr Hannah. The lump on the back leg was sent off to the lab to be assessed and was found to be a malignant type. Luckily, it was very low grade and has a really low chance of recurrence. Wonderful spotting by her mum as it was a very small, inconspicuous lump!!🤞

Nara had to be kept extra quiet because it was in a high tension area but has since healed up wonderfully and is back to normal. 🥰

Feline lower urinary tract disease (FLUTD) isn’t a specific disease, but it describes the signs of certain conditions that can affect the urinary bladder and/or urethra of cats. 🐈

We've compiled some brief symptoms, causes and what can help if your cat suffers from FLUTD. A reminder that any sign of struggling or not producing urine is classed as a MEDICAL EMERGENCY and we recommend contacting the clinic ASAP. 🚨🐾

🚨 Microchip Registry Closure 🚨

Recently HomeSafeID microchip register and supplier CLOSED. These microchips are no longer searchable and lost pets with these type of microchips may not be reunited with their owners.

Our clinic thankfully does not use HomeSafeID as our registrar. If you've had your pet microchipped with us you shouldn't encounter any problems. However, if you are unsure what database your pet is on you can follow the below steps. ⬇️

🐾 You can visit www.petaddress.com.au to check which database their are registered to.
🐾 If your pet is registered to HomeSafeID, we can assist you in transferring their details as soon as possible.
🐾 Our suggested registry is Central Animal Records - www.car.com.au

This is also a good timely reminder to make sure your pets details are up to date incase they ever do become lost.

One of our wonderful senior pets 'Foxy' turned 15 on Sunday! We love seeing Foxy and her mum celebrate her birthday each year.
