Many of our patients, in fact we have atleast over 40 patients currently treated for heart murmurs. 🩺

Same Same, but different! 🐈🐈

'Theo' & 'Pookie' are sweet ginger and white boys who were both in last week. 🧡🤍

'Theo' had his cat groom and felt fresh as a daisy after getting rid of all his thick coat & 'Pookie' is a lovely old diabetic cat who stayed with us for the day for monitoring of his glucose levels. 🩺✂️💉

They both loved head scratches and had the attention of the nurses all day! 🐾

DENTAL X-RAYS 🩻 🦷

Dental X-rays are a significant diagnostic tool we use in all of our dental procedures. To achieve gold standard and best outcomes for our patients ALL dental procedures include dental X-rays.

X-rays have MANY benefits including:
🦷 Allowing us to see what is happening below the gum line as up to 60% or some teeth can’t be seen without X-rays.
🦷 Help us assess bone/jaw involvement.
🦷 Allow us to check if involvement of sinus, nasal, nerves or blood vessels is present.

Dental X-rays will help with any early intervention and ensures we keep on-top of your patients health and comfort! 🐾🩺

RAT BAIT INGESTION 🐀🩸

Recently we’ve seen a huge increase in the number of patients presenting to the clinic as an emergency for the ingestion of rat baits. 🩺

Winter typically sees more bait ingestions as more homes are likely to be frequented by rodents, therefore requiring some sort of bait control.

Unfortunately the baits we reach for have ingredients that stop the blood from clotting, and while straight after ingesting there is no side affects it is what follows in the coming days that can be incredibly serious and potentially fatal. 🆘

If you notice immediately or even a few days later it is vital that you seek immediate veterinary attention to achieve the best outcome possible. Remember to always seek the help of professionals if baiting is 100% necessary.
