It's been a busy few months and we've had fun catching up with our past board and train dogs for board n play short stays. Always great to see how far the dogs have come with training and a good opportunity to touch up on skills.

TALON - BOARD AND PLAY This gentle giant is not always comfortable with people and it took a few familiarisation visits before he was able to settle with us but eventually Talon was able to stay whilst his family had their first holiday together.

HAPPY JACK - One of our regulars Jack has his own ‘room’ and enjoys spending time playing ball, splashing in the dam and hanging around with our other dogs.

BRONTE – CAVOODLE – BOARD AND TRAIN – Bronte needed to learn to be engaged and listen to her owner. She also needed to learn how to play and socialise appropriately with other dogs and to walk nicely on the lead. Despite her angelic looks Bronte was quite challenging to work with but by being consistent with our training we managed to imprint a good foundation of engagement and training. Bronte’s owner is very committed to continuing Bronte’s development and we look forward to hearing how she goes.

RUSTY – BOARD AND TRAIN - Reactive with other dogs Rusty needed a structured program with strong leadership, advanced obedience skills (including impulse control) as well as learning to behave appropriately whilst on the lead/around other dogs. Rusty’s family have continued with his training now he is home and are continuing to have great results.

A delightful dog to work with Paddington quickly picked up the basics of engagement work including a great recall and had awesome social interactions during his stay with us

Callie – Groodle – Board and Train– with a beautiful nature, and sociable with both dogs and people Callie’s owner just needed some guidance to fast track her general engagement, work on the foundations of a great recall and a solid downstay and get Callie loose leash walking so that outings were more enjoyable. Callie was a joy to work with and it was great to see her owner committed to continuing to build on what Callie has learnt.

Rottweiler – Zeus - Board and Train – Not always good with new situations/people we organised a few ‘meet and greets’ before Zeus came to stay. A little wary at first Zeus settled in and we took the time to gain his trust before we began working through his training program. He gradually opened up and showed us what a great dog he is – excelling with his learning and having lots of fun swimming in the dam too!
