MABEL – PRIVATE CONSULT & TRAINING PROGRAM
Mabel came to see us for a consult and development of a training program with her new owner Sarah. Mabel had come up from Victoria where her original family couldn’t keep her for health reasons.
Sarah wanted to build a strong foundation of obedience and engagement work as well as strengthen her bond with Mabel and develop a good strong recall!
Sarah hit the jackpot with Mabel – a beautiful GSP – highly intelligent and trainable. They make a good team and we look forward to catching up with them soon!

KAMALA - Behavioural Assesment - Private lessons

Kamala had a history of anxiousness and was very reactive to other dogs (including those within her new home). Her owner had sought help from other dog trainers and behaviourists and had been told that Kamala should be euthanised! This wasn’t an option! Her owner was committed to helping Kamala improve and has been seeing us for private lessons for a few months now. In this time her owner has learnt how to interact with Kamala and they enjoy their time training and learning together. Its important that learning is fun as this produces the right emotion towards training. Kamala was a quick learner, her owner dedicated to the process and they have now moved forward onto more advanced exercises and Kamala has learnt to listen, follow instruction and be obedient around her fellow four legged family.

SAOIRSE - CATTLE DOG - BOARD AND PLAY
We had our dear friend Saoirse in for a short visit. We always love having Sao come and stay - she is a lot of fun and loves to swim and play. Over time, through training and patience, we've built a great relationship with her and she now trusts us and has let us into her inner circle. Looking forward to next time

FREDDIE – MINI FOXY – 10 MONTHS – COMPANION ANIMAL LESSON PACKAGE
Freddie and his owner came for some guidance and instruction on how to start Freddie’s obedience, engagement and the all important recall.
Freddies had only come to his new home three weeks ago so this was a great time to start some training!
We developed a good plan and techniques on how to start training as well as talked about general management around the home.
It was obvious that Freddie is a quick learner and we believe they are going to have a lot of fun together!

ZEENA - BOARD AND TRAIN
Zeena came to us to participate In our board and train program! She was a beautiful dog and very social but she struggled with walking on lead and in general her engagement and obedience needed improvement. We set about putting things in place and started our journey of teaching and engaging with Zeena as well as the all important recall!! Zeena made great improvements In her stay with us and it allowed her owners to pick up the reins and continue on with her training.

TALON - BOARD AND PLAY This gentle giant is not always comfortable with people and it took a few familiarisation visits before he was able to settle with us but eventually Talon was able to stay whilst his family had their first holiday together.

BRONTE – CAVOODLE – BOARD AND TRAIN – Bronte needed to learn to be engaged and listen to her owner. She also needed to learn how to play and socialise appropriately with other dogs and to walk nicely on the lead. Despite her angelic looks Bronte was quite challenging to work with but by being consistent with our training we managed to imprint a good foundation of engagement and training. Bronte’s owner is very committed to continuing Bronte’s development and we look forward to hearing how she goes.
