Gherkin, our mischievous Elf on the Shelf, is at it again! This time, he’s on a very important mission — making sure our furry friends are in tip-top shape!

Today, Gherkin was spotted using an otoscope to check the ears of our toy lion (because even stuffed animals need a little extra care during the holidays)! We can't help but laugh at how thorough he’s being.

Who knew elves were so good with veterinary tools? Looks like Gherkin is taking his job as our honorary vet VERY seriously this year! 🎄🎅🎄

Our clients have chosen the perfect name for this mischievous little elf, and we couldn't be more excited to introduce him! Gherkin is ready to spread some holiday cheer and get up to all sorts of fun this season.

Its been 5 days and we were wondering where 'Pickle' our Elf on the Shelf' has been? Then this happened!

This morning a new little elf was found in one of our cages, it turns out Pickle went to the North Pole to help Santa this year and Pickle sent his cousin to cause mischief!

So our new little Elf will need a name and since you were all so kind to help us last year, we thought you can offer some suggestions!

We can't wait to see what sort of adventures our new little elf will get up to! 🎄🎅🎄

Jodie began her journey with us just one week before Dr. Mark Reeve, and over the years, she has been the backbone of our practice. Her dedication, leadership, and hard work have shaped us into the practice we are today.

Every single day, Jodie inspires, trains, and supports our entire team. She is the heart of the hospital, training our trainees, supporting our nurses, and caring deeply for every staff member. Her passion for advocating for our patients and providing the best care is unparalleled.

Mark began his veterinary career straight out of school in 2004, working alongside his parents, Dr. Phil & Sue Reeve. By 2012, he took the reins as the owner of the hospital, and in 2017, he led the team to open our brand new, purpose-built facility — a true milestone in the growth of our practice!

Over the years, Mark has become a leader in the veterinary community, not just for his expertise, but for his unwavering advocacy for every animal in his care. His dedication to his team and belief in ongoing education ensures we always provide the highest standard of care for your beloved pets.

Today, the Tea Tree Gully Veterinary Hospital is home to 9 veterinarians, 40+ nurses and support staff, all working together to deliver exceptional care, thanks to Mark’s leadership.

We are seeing more and more grass seeds as the weather starts to warm up. Moose came in recently with a grass seed found in his paw. We were able to retrieve the seed but Moose was all tuckered out from his eventful day and curled up with one of our trainee veterinary nurses, Billie, for a cuddle.
