At We Love Dogz Daycare we pride ourselves on being more than just a daycare.
Whilst our role is to provide your dog with the interaction they need with other dog’s in a controlled environment for their physical and mental wellbeing, we pride ourselves on being your go to. Whether it is being there when you need an extra pair of hands because your working longer hours than expected or have to undergo surgery or you just need some guidance on veterinary care or behaviour, we are here.
We pride ourselves on being by your side to help you every step of the way during your dog’s life.
Founded in 2010 by Alicia, we are a family owned and operated daycare for dog’s living on Sydney’s lower north shore.
So what does a typical day at our daycare look like?
Your dog will be picked up early in the morning from your home with their mates and we head off to local double gated entry/exit dog parks or our private property located only 30 minutes from our collection zone for a day filled with fun and activities! We offer a range of activities from playing in the ball pit and sandpit, chasing tennis balls and the frisbees, splashing in the paddle pool and more.
We pride ourselves on offering a safe and fun environment for our dogs therefore, we only enrol dogs on a regular weekly basis and any newly enrolled dogs are subject to a strict to an assessment (sorry!)
So how have we changed things since COVID19?
We are now offering new parents a live meet and greet over Skype when we arrive at your home on your dog’s first day. This allows us to collect your dog without either of us having to come into contact with each other. We also require a COVID19 questionnaire to be completed to keep our doggie families and ours safe.
This is also offered to existing parents who relocate.
How do we prevent COVID19 transmission at We Love Dogz Daycare?
⠀
We have consulted with our trusted Veterinary Clinics and they have advised whilst not essential (unless if your dog has come into contact with someone with a confirmed case of COVID19), it is good practice to give your dog a quick wash after visiting the Vet, dog daycare or coming into contact with others outside your home. Don't forget to give their collar a little scrub too 👍
⠀
Whilst the risk of transmission via your dog's coat or collar is low, if they've come into contact with someone who has COVID19, this measure is effective.
⠀
❌ For our safety and our doggie families safety we do not accept dogs into daycare who are owned by a person who has a confirmed case, an owner who has had close contact with someone that has a confirmed case or is in quarantine (not voluntarily).
⠀
We have a strict COVID19 OH&S Policy at We Love Dogz Daycare which can be found on our website.
⠀
Our trusted Vets at Greencross Vets Roseville and Chatswood, and Dr Paws Lane Cove are here to assist you with your pet's health during this time. These Clinics have strict policies to keep your family and themselves safe. Feel free to get in touch with them if your dog requires veterinary care during this period.
For our trading hours, services, fees and more, please get in touch! We would love to hear more about you and your dog, and would be more than happy to help in any way we can.
