I deleted a huge whinge I wrote about the weather, realising that I'm turning into a cranky old person who has nothing else to do but complain about the weather 🤣🤣

A bloke at the park who emerged from the water reminded me that as far as offices go, I got it pretty good no matter the weather next time I'll wear swimmers and get in too! Because the dogs wouldn't get out 🐾🤣💦🌊

Once they were all out of the van, they were in the water where they pretty much stayed until home time 🤣

But the temp rose 5 degrees by the time our second group got out, we strolled along nice and easy with the dogs enjoying lazy refreshing swims

It was a beautiful drizzly day today. We had waggy tails, and tongues out today! Barney and Bear had a good run together. Stan joined in for a bit. Stan raced over to a man with chicken in his pocket and tried to stick his nose in it 😂😂😳😳 lucky the man is used to us and thought it was funny hahaha

It is a very sad day today as our old boy Luca made his journey across the rainbow bridge this morning 😞Luca joined the Pack during covid and I noticed right away that he was a quirky sort of dog

He liked to think of himself as an alpha dog but he he couldn't quite pull it off 😆

He would run interference when any new dog entered the park, sniff them and decide if they needed hu***ng or not.

He hated German shepherds, I learned very quickly to put a leash on him if one was around because he would antagonise them and start trouble 😬

He enjoyed paddling in the water but he never swam, he also liked to bury his nose in dirt and eat it.

What I'll miss most is his happy double woof.

When he was excited he'd double woof. Woof-woof ... woof-woof. Towards the end that's about all he could manage.

He was well loved by his family with whom I developed friendships that will continue on.

So long, Luca duka, it's been a real honour and pleasure to know you. I know the puppers that crossed over before you would be there to greet you.

Woof-woof, old boy, we will really miss you ❤️❤️❤️❤️🐾🐾🐾🐾

There's nothing like a couple of days in bed sick to make me appreciate the fact that I have the best job in the world!!! My favourite part is the pick ups where I get the best greetings!!

We had a great day! Bossy and Indie got their excited yaps on, Ted galloped around looking for stinky things, Lara raced up to people to say hello and Molly enjoyed walking right in front of me every time!l

Winston joined today's arvo group, where the besties Dolly and Wombat chase each other around. Barney tries to join in but struggles to keep up with his long legged friends 😂🐕🌞🐾

It was Maple and Pablo's final walk with us and it has been an absolute joy to have them join the pack for the last coup...

An absolute corker of a day! Little Kippa ventured out with us, she is a bit deaf and slow and tends to wander off and dear old boy Luca enjoyed keeping his paws cool in the water today. Everyone else, tumbled, swam and sniffed all the interesting smells 🥰🌞🐾🐕
